Caregiver – Home Instead

We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who want to build genuine connections with seniors and be part of a team that truly supports one another.

Whether you're experienced or new to caregiving, we'll give you the training, support, and tools to help you succeed.

What You'll Do

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you may assist seniors with:

  • Companionship and conversation

  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping

  • Medication reminders

  • Transportation, errands, and appointments

  • Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Mobility and transfer assistance

  • Alzheimer's and dementia care

  • Following individual client care plans

  • Providing dependable, respectful, and compassionate care

  • Communicating changes or concerns to the office team

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

  • Ability to pass required background checks

  • Dependable and able to arrive to scheduled shifts on time

  • Reliable phone and ability to communicate with the office

  • Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities of caregiving

  • Willingness to assist with personal care when required

  • Compassionate, professional, and respectful attitude

  • Ability to follow care plans, policies, and safety procedures

  • Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required — training is provided
