Client Care Advisor

$20–$25/hr · Full time, Monday–Friday · Mountain Home, AR

About Us

We're a local Home Instead franchise, family owned and operated by two generations of the same family. We serve the majority of north-central Arkansas.

We provide non-medical in-home care for seniors. Three things we're known for:

• We move quickly. A family who calls us doesn't wait weeks for a consultation.

• Someone from our office sees every client in person on a regular schedule, not just in the beginning.

The Job

You'd advise on the care our clients receive. You visit them at home on a regular schedule, call in between, and read the notes our care pros leave after every shift. Then you update the care plan so it matches what the client actually needs right now.

You'd be the person that client and their family know and call.

We're looking for a motivated professional who cares about aging adults and takes client care personally. This seat carries real responsibility. You own your roster and the judgment calls that come with it.

What a Day Looks Like

• In-home visits with the clients on your roster, plus check-in calls in between
• Updating care plans when something changes: whether that be a task that's moved to a different time of the day, help that's needed on a new day, or something that may no longer apply
• Reading what our care pros write after every shift, and acting on what it shows
• Answering questions and concerns from clients and their families, and following them through to an answer
• Working with our schedulers, our RN and our care pro team to get things sorted

Clients are spread across Mountain Home, Harrison and Batesville, so expect to be in the company car a fair amount.

What We're Looking For

• A real passion for aging adults and for the quality of care they receive
• Highly motivated and self-directed. You'd own a roster and manage your own week
• Experience with aging adults, whether that be in home care, senior living, hospice, a hospital, or caring for someone in your own family
• Good judgment about when something needs attention, and the confidence to raise it
• Clear writing. Your notes are what the rest of the team will work from
• Comfortable on a computer; you'd be in our care system every day
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

This is not hands-on caregiving, and it is not a nursing role. Our care pros provide the exceptional care, you just make sure it is the right care.

Before You Apply

This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and current auto insurance, since you'll be driving a company vehicle to client homes. Employment is contingent on satisfactory completion of our standard pre-employment checks.
