Lan Berry opened Home Instead in October 2007. He had previously owned two retail businesses, but decided he wanted to "Make a Difference." That is when he discovered non-medical in-home care services at Home Instead. Since that time, he has employed over 800 employees and has helped countless seniors in the Wiregrass area. Lan is a people person who enjoys music and spending time with his family. Lan's mission is to help seniors look forward to the rest of their lives. He also wants to improve the lives of our client's families and our CAREGivers. His door is always open to discuss concerns, issues or celebrations.

Muriel joined Home Instead in August 2025 as Office Coordinator and is a member of the leadership team. In this role, she provides expertise in office operations, sales and marketing, business development, client intake, reporting, and process improvement. As a member of the leadership team, Muriel helps strengthen office systems, improve operational efficiency, support strategic growth initiatives, and enhance the overall client and caregiver experience.

Rebecca Bruce has been with Home Instead since January 2008. She is our Office Accountant. She is responsible for ensuring that our clients are billed correctly and that our CAREGivers are paid correctly.

Ashley leads the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and development of Home Instead's Care Professionals while ensuring compliance with employment standards and company policies. She is committed to building a compassionate, high-quality caregiving team and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Nicole Albritton started as a CAREGiver with Home Instead. She was then promoted to After Hours Supervisor and then transitioned to being our Scheduler. She is responsible for making sure that our clients have the best CAREGivers when they need them.

Vanessa Nix joined Home Instead in 2024. She is our Client Care Coordinator and is responsible for the overall satisfaction and well-being of our clients.

Mary builds strong relationships throughout the community while guiding families through the care consultation process. She is dedicated to connecting seniors with the services they need and ensuring every client receives personalized, compassionate support from the beginning of their care journey.

Michelle has been a valued member of Home Instead since July 2004. As Scheduler, she coordinates client schedules, matches qualified Care Professionals with clients, and helps ensure dependable care through effective communication and continuity of service.
