Position Overview
Home Instead is seeking a reliable and adaptable Administrative Office Intern this summer to support our Mobile office operations.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of administrative tasks in a structured office environment. The intern will assist with day-to-day office functions while supporting staff, caregivers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing (physical and digital), and document organization
- Support caregiver scheduling and communication while in the field
- Help with onboarding tasks such as preparing orientation materials and organizing paperwork
- Answer calls, respond to messages, and route inquiries appropriately
- Travel with office staff as needed to assist with community visits, caregiver support, or client-related tasks
- Help maintain accurate employee and client records
- Assist with recruiting efforts such as organizing applications and scheduling interviews
- Support general office needs and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program (Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Reliable transportation
