Full-Time Caregiver – 12-Hour Swing Shift

Location: Gulf Shores, AL

Home Instead is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and high-character caregiver for a full-time, 12-hour swing shift position in Gulf Shores. This role is for someone who understands that caregiving is serious, meaningful work and takes pride in serving others with excellence.

Position Details

• Schedule: 12-hour swing shift

• Status: Full-time

• Consistency: Steady, reliable schedule

• Start Date: Immediate

• Pay Range:$15–$16 per hour, based on experience

Who We’re Looking For

• Patient, reliable, and compassionate

• Someone who shows up, follows through, and takes responsibility

• Able to build genuine, respectful relationships with clients

• Willing to commit to a consistent full-time schedule

• Teachable and open to ongoing training and growth

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and conversation

• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation

• Offer medication and appointment reminders

• Support clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia care

• Treat clients and their homes with dignity, respect, and care

• Communicate clearly, kindly, and professionally

• Safely transport clients when required

No prior caregiving experience required.
