Home Instead Senior Care, servicing Southeastern Montgomery County, PA, has the immediate need to find warm and caring individuals to fill multiple shifts.   We currently have available shifts for daytime, evening, overnight and weekends. If you are looking for work, we have flexible daytime, nighttime, overnights and weekends.  We provide quality care and assistance to seniors so they can comfortably remain in their own homes for as long as they are able.  Come join us and share your unique talents and skills to help seniors stay independent and live the life they desire.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Requirements:

  • CNA, HHA, or two years work related experience preferred
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance 
  • Current 2-Step PPD

Service Coordinator

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is a non-medical home care company that has an immediate need to hire a full-time Service Coordinator who is organized, detail oriented and computer literate. The primary focus is to schedule clients and caregivers with an emphasis on providing excellent matches and creating extraordinary relationships. The Service Coordinator is responsible for entering and maintaining accurate client and caregiver activity utilizing the software system and following up with all client and caregiver issues to ensure that problems are resolved. This is a very challenging position and vital to our success in continuing to provide the highest quality of service to our clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must demonstrate open, friendly communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness
  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, clients and caregivers
  • Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
