In 1995, Rob graduated Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He also holds a CPA certificate of which he specialized in the health care field. Shelley, as well, received a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Tennessee Technological University and a Masters degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Shelley is a Certified Gerontologist. In September 2004, the Home Instead Senior Care franchise was established for the Upper Cumberland. Rob runs the day to day operations of the Cookeville and Crossville offices. In addition to Shelley's many duties, she facilitates the specialized training for Home Instead Senior Care's Alzheimer program and currently teaches Sociology, Aging Studies, and Race and Ethics at TTU. Rob and Shelley believe it is a privilege to be a part of someone's life and play a role in assisting them in remaining independent. They want to insure successful aging and a quality of life for our aging Americans today and in the future.
Renee has been with Home Instead Senior Care since March of 2006. She was a CAREGiver for a year before taking an office position as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. She was then promoted to Service Coordinator, Office Manager, General Manager and now her role is Director of Operations for the Cookeville and Crossville offices. She was born and raised in Cookeville, but now resides in Baxter. She has four children. Renee is passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence. With Renee's promotion to Director of Operations, she oversees the operations of the Cookeville and Crossville offices. Some of her duties include managing the CAREGivers, arranging schedules, and ensuring compatiblity between the clients and their CAREGivers. All these duties help assure the families that their loved ones are being taken care of around the clock. When Renee thinks of Home Instead Senior Care, she thinks Caring, Compassionate, Loyal, and Trustworthy. Renee has a strong desire to give back to seniors as they have given to others all their lives. She loves that she is helping people to stay in their homes as long as possible.
Amanda resides in Cookeville with her husband and three children, Corbin, Jack, and Magnolia. Her Home Instead journey began in January 2011 as a CAREGiver. She was brought into the office as Administrative Assistant. Then worked her way up, filing roles as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator and Recruitment and Retention Manager. She is currently Operations Manager for both the Cookeville and Crossville offices.
Amanda currently helps to oversee operations in both office, as well as overseeing employee benefits and bonuses, and is still actively involved in our hiring process. She is excited and proud to help to provide excellent care to clients, and top quality employment to our CAREGivers.
Sara is a Cookeville native who has been with Home Instead since 2013. Sara, has a heart for missionary work and dedicates much of her time to serving others. Her passion for serving pours into all she does and is much of the reason she has been so successful. In true Home Instead fashion, she began her journey as a CAREGiver, however, her infectious personality quickly gained her a position as Service Coordinator. She then moved to Home Care Consultant where she flourished and found a true talent.
Sara will be continuing her passion by serving our offices as Operations Supervisor. In this role she will be providing much needed support and mentorship to each department in both our Cookeville and Crossville locations. Her supervision will help to ensure that each office provides the best possible care to our seniors and our community.
Elizabeth is passionate about ensuring the best care possible is provided to the seniors of the Upper Cumberland so that they may remain at home for as long as possible. She loves the personal interaction with CAREGivers and clients and believes Home Instead Senior Care is a valuable resource for the community.
Jennifer is a native of Baxter. She is a CNA and started with Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in September 2014. Since then, she has taken pride in helping seniors remain independent in their own homes. She was quick to volunteer when an opportunity arose to be an On-call Manager, and has excelled with this role. In June 2016, we welcomed her to the office as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator and has recently been promoted to Service Coordinator.
Jennifer always keeps the scripture "Work as if you were working for the Lord" in mind in all that she does. Seniors hold a special place in her heart, and she is very excited to help provide quality care to the seniors of the Upper Cumberland.
Wendy moved to the Upper Cumberland area in 2002. She moved to Cookeville to be closer to family, her two daughters and her new granddaughter. She began with Home Instead in Novemeber 2016 as a CAREGiver, and was quickly put into the On-Call Manager position. She joined our office team as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator and has recently been promoted to Service Coordinator
In her new role, Wendy is responsible for assigning CAREGivers to fit each clients specific needs. She will be a key part in providing quality care for our clients and a great experience for our CAREGivers.
Nancy was born and raised in Cookeville. She is wife and mother of two sons and three grandchildren.
Nancy has always been an asset to Home Instead. She was hired in 2014 as a CAREGiver, and took fantastic care of her clients for two years. During that time, she completed Alzheimers training and was selected as CAREGiver of the Month and CAREGiver of the Year 2015. In May 2016, she accepted a new role in the office as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. In July 2016, Nancy moved up to Client Care Coordinator, doing quality assurance, and helping us to always provide top quality care to our clients.
Heaven was born and raised in Cookeville. She is an avid reader and enjoys hiking with her dog. Her family, friends, and faith are the most important
things to her. Heaven started caregiving because she loves helping others. Due to her dedication, Heaven was an easy pick for On-Call Manager and Lead CAREGiver over a year ago. As her experience has grown, we are happy to move her up as a part of our Recruitment and Engagement team.
As Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, Heaven will be helping our clients and ensuring quality care by bringing in the most qualified CAREGivers. We are excited to have her as she continues her journey with Home Instead Senior Care.
Mindi moved from Vermont to the Cookeville area in 2016. She began her career at Home Instead almost immediately and has been with us since. When she isn't working, Mindi can be found hiking, shopping, or wrangling one of her many animals. Mindi has a drive and determination that made her stand out from the start. She became an important piece of our On-Call Team in 2017 and will now be joining our office staff.
As Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, Mindi will be expanding and improving our CAREGiving team in order to ensure the most quality care for our clients.
