Rob and Shelley Brown - Franchise Owners

Rob and Shelley Brown - Franchise Owners

In 1995, Rob graduated Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He also holds a CPA certificate of which he specialized in the health care field. Shelley, as well, received a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Tennessee Technological University and a Masters degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Shelley is a Certified Gerontologist. In September 2004, the Home Instead Senior Care franchise was established for the Upper Cumberland.  Rob runs the day to day operations of the Cookeville and Crossville offices. In addition to Shelley's many duties, she facilitates the specialized training for Home Instead Senior Care's Alzheimer program and currently teaches Sociology, Aging Studies, and Race and Ethics at TTU.
 
Rob and Shelley believe it is a privilege to be a part of someone's life and play a role in assisting them in remaining independent. They want to insure successful aging and a quality of life for our aging Americans today and in the future.​​

Renee Maynard - Director of Operations

Renee Maynard - Director of Operations

Renee has been with Home Instead Senior Care since March of 2006. She was a CAREGiver for a year before taking an office position as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. She was then promoted to Service Coordinator, Office Manager, General Manager ​​and now her role is Director of Operations​ for the Cookeville and Crossville offices. She was born and raised in Cookeville, but now resides in Baxter. She has four children.
 
Renee is passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence. With Renee's promotion to Director of Operations​, she oversees the operations of the Cookeville and Crossville offices.  Some of her duties include managing the CAREGivers, arranging schedules, and ensuring compatiblity between the clients and their CAREGivers. All these duties help assure the families that their loved ones are being taken care of around the clock. When Renee thinks of Home Instead Senior Care, she thinks Caring, Compassionate, Loyal, and Trustworthy. Renee has a strong desire to give back to seniors as they have given to others all their lives. She loves that she is helping people to stay in their homes as long as possible.​​

Amanda Pryor - Operations Manager

Amanda Pryor - Operations Manager

Amanda resides in Cookeville with her husband and two sons, Corbin and Jack. Her Home Instead journey began in January 2011 as a CAREGiver. She was brought into the office as Administrative Assistant. Then worked her way up, filing roles as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator and Recruitment and Retention Manager. She is currently Operations Manager for both the Cookeville and Crossville offices.

Amanda currently helps to oversee operations in both office, as well as overseeing employee benefits and bonuses, and is still actively involved in our hiring process. She is excited and proud to help to provide excellent care to clients, and top quality employment to our CAREGivers.

Sara Martin - Home Care Consultant

Sara Martin - Home Care Consultant

Sara began her journey with the Home Instead team in June of 2013 as a CAREGiver. She impressed us with her caring and vibrant personality, so quickly, that she was soon promoted to Service Coordinator and then Service Coordination Manager.  Sara is now our Home Care Consultant. Her main focus is to connect with those in our referral provider network to increase awareness about our services in the communities that we serve.

"We are constantly striving to enchance the lives of aging adults and their families. It is a commitment we take seriously and I am proud to serve as part of this team and part of this community."

Sara, her husband, and their cocker spaniel, Bentley reside here locally in Algood. She enjoys helping others and giving back to her community. Her goal is to show compassion and love to everyone she comes in contact with.

Elizabeth McDonald - Director of Service Coordination

Elizabeth McDonald - Director of Service Coordination

Elizabeth is a Monterey native with a son named Kolton. She has an LPN background and has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2006. She was a CAREGiver for two years, received her Alzheimer's Training certification, and then was promoted to an office position as Recruitment and Rentention Coordinator.  She is now our Director of Service Coordination, where she helps oversee scheduling operations.
 

Elizabeth is passionate about ensuring the best care possible is provided to the seniors of the Upper Cumberland so that they may remain at home for as long as possible. She loves the personal interaction with CAREGivers and clients and believes Home Instead Senior Care is a valuable resource for the community.​

Isabeau Strader - Service Coordinator

Isabeau Strader - Service Coordinator

Isabeau is a native of Cookeville. She is a new mother to a baby boy named Wilder. She's currently working toward a Business Management degree at Tennessee Technological University. True to Home Instead form, she started as a CAREGiver. With her skills in caring for others combined with her ability to handle high stress situations in a professional manner, we knew she was ready for more.  She has held the role of Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, and recently moved into Service Coordination.
 
There are many ways to provide the seniors of the Upper Cumberland with the quality care that they deserve, and Isabeau is happy for the opportunity to ensure quality care is provided to our clients around the clock.

Ashton Rogers- Service Coordinator

 

Ashton joined our CAREGiving staff in 2014. She really stood out due to her sweet and happy personality and willilngness to help out. In January 2016, she accepted new responsibilities as On-Call Manager. She excelled with this role and continues to do a great job. In April 2016. we welcomed her into the office as an Office Coordinator. Ashton is now one of our Service Coordinators. Her duties include arranging schedules and overseeing clients and CAREGivers compatabilites.

In her personal time, Ashton enjoys spending time with her four fur babies: three dogs and a cat. She is currently persuing a degree at Tennessee Tech in Secondary Education English.​

Nancy Hughes- Client Care Coordinator

Nancy Hughes- Client Care Coordinator

 

​Nancy was born and raised in Cookeville. She is wife and mother of two sons and three grandchildren.

Nancy has always been an asset to Home Instead. She was hired in 2014 as a CAREGiver, and took fantastic care of her clients for two years. During that time, she completed Alzheimers training and was selected as CAREGiver of the Month and CAREGiver of the Year 2015. In May 2016, she accepted a new role in the office as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. In July 2016, Nancy moved up to Client Care Coordinator, doing quality assurance, and helping us to always provide top quality care to our clients.

​Jennifer is a native of Baxter. She is a CNA and started with Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in September 2014. Since then, she has taken pride in helping seniors remain independent in their own homes. She was quick to volunteer when an opportunity arose to be an On-call Manager, and has excelled with this role. She was recognized as CAREGiver of the Month in May 2016, and in June 2016 we welcomed her to the office as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator.

Jennifer always keeps the scripture "Work as if you were working for the Lord" in mind in all that she does. Seniors hold a special place in her heart, and she is very excited to help provide quality care to the seniors of the Upper Cumberland.
