Meet Benjamin and Jennifer Marchi, franchise owners of the Mid-Eastern Shore office. Jennifer received an Undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech. Jennifer also obtained the designation of Certified Senior Advisor. Benjamin previously worked in politics and government affairs. Their goal is to provide their clients with the hightest level of care possible and to also provide their caregivers with the support and training tools necessary to be the leader in this industry. When they are not in the office, they are chasing after their toddler and infant!
Gail has been with the Easton office since 2004. She spends a lot of her time on the road visiting clients and their families. Gail is responsible for our Quality Assurance which allows us to provide the best care for our clients. She has 2 sons and 4 Grandchildren and lives on a farm which allows her to be near her other love, animals.
We are pleased to have Carole, one of our Staff Coordinators. Managing a household of seven, she has had plenty of experience coordinating and scheduling. Carole also handles billing and long term care insurance. Caring for her parents and previously having been a nanny helped fostered her desire to help others.
Jane has been enjoying her position as our Community Service Manager since 2012! In her position, she spends time in the community visiting professionals and being the face of Home Instead. With a BS in Healthcare Administration, Jane has obtained the skills needed in today’s ever-changing healthcare setting. Information about Alzheimer’s and other dementias is a strong asset of hers, providing education to the community and our CAREGivers. Originally from Nebraska, Jane enjoys trips “home” to see family, and enjoys a variety of hobbies in her free time.
Terri is one of our Staffing Coordinators. Terri herself has been a caregiver for over 30 years, so her experience is vast! She is able to apply her experiences of caregiving to finding the right match for our clients. In her spare time, Terri loves spending time with her two children, three grandchildren and her dogs. She also loves to cook and bake and keeps the office well fed!
Jeanette is a transplanted New Englander who adores the Eastern Shore. Jeanette has the responsibility of CAREGiver and staff training, recruitment and retention. In this role, Jeanette has the responsibility for conducting CAREGiver background checks personal and professional reference checks and keeping CAREGiver records up to date. Prior to joining our team, Jeanette spent 14 years with Target in the Human Resource department. In addition to her professionalism in Human Resources she also brings a great amount of energy to the office with her singing and all around great attitude!
Tissier or (Tee) is our most recent addition of Administrative Assistant. Tee loved the caring nature of the company which made her want to be a part of the Home Instead family. Tee enjoys reading, traveling, movies and spending time with loved ones. She will be spending a lot of time with a new baby due fall of 2015!
Carol is our nurse for Talbot, Dorchester and Caroline counties supervising the CAREGivers who provide personal care in those counties. Carol does the initial assessment for the new clients and the 90-day reviews. Carol has many years experience in home care.
Anne grew up on the Western AND Eastern Shore of Maryland. She grew up on the Chesapeake Bay enjoying boating, fishing and crabbing.
Anne has worked in geriatricsfor the past 16 years in all settings including skilled, assisted living, indepentendent living and in home personal care assessments.
In her spare time Anne likes to spend time with her two grown children and three grandchildren.
