  3. Iredell County Walk to End Alzheimer's

October 10, 2015

Home Instead Senior Care of Statesville is participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s to raise awareness and funds to advance the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Currently more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease and that number is expected to grow as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we change the course of this devastating disease. There is something you can do -- walk with us or donate to help us meet our team’s fundraising!

To donate, click the link below to make a secure credit card donation online or download a form to mail in with a check. All donations benefit the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association and every dollar makes a difference in this fight.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will be able to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical trial enrollment, and support programs and services. Each walker will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
