Marjorie Hilkert is a passionate advocate for people with Alzheimer’s disease and
dementia and their caregivers. Inspired by her experience caring for her father who
was diagnosed with the disease in 2002, Marjorie has worked tirelessly to train and
educate the community in all aspects Alzheimer’s and dementia. She is a trainer
with Home Instead Senior Care; speaker for the Alzheimer’s Associates’
Southeastern Virginia Chapter; past Chairman of the Williamsburg Walk to End
Alzheimer’s disease; member of the Peninsula Alzheimer’s Leadership Council;
and certified art facilitator and trainer for the Memories in the Making Creative Art
