Our Administrative Team

David Gest - Owner

David Gest - Owner

David brought in-home care for seniors to the Brazos Valley in 2001 by opening the doors to Home Instead Senior Care.

David's background had been in the areas of Advertising and Sales Management. His most recent position in advertising was as Regional Vice President of Cox Communications' media arm CableRep Advertising.  David was also involved in the Durable Medical Equipment world as Owner and CEO of BetaMED, Inc. which he owned and operated successfully in Bryan/College Station for 8+ years.

Primarily focused on Administration and Operations for Home Instead in the Bryan/College Station area, David is also active in directing the marketing efforts of the business.  He enjoys putting together successsful teams and also enjoys "people development".  Home Instead Senior Care in the Brazos Valley has been blessed with great CAREGivers and Key Players since its inception and all of the team enjoys working with the area's senior population.

A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, David and his wife Linda have called College Station home since 1992. They enjoy their wonderful family -- including their Golden Retriever Nola!


Jessie Lee - Director of Client Care

Jessie joined the Home Instead team in July of 2013. 
 
Previously, Jessie spent 6 years teaching Kindergarten in Navasota ISD. She is happy to take the love and attention she poured into her students and transfer that to our seniors! She will be diligent in assuring that all clients' needs are met to the satisfaction of the senior and their family. Jessie is adept at making people feel comfortable and supported, and exudes patience and positivity in all that she does.
 
Jessie grew up in College Station, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006. She still lives in College Station with her husband, Dusty and their sons Duke and Davis.​​ As a family, they enjoy being active in their church, spending time outdoors, and competing with one another at CrossFit!

Adrienne Rhodes - Office Manager

Adrienne Rhodes - Office Manager

Adrienne, the Office Manager for Home Instead Senior Care, came to us with extensive experience in her area of expertise. Adrienne previously worked for St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan. She handled insurance claims by working on appeals and was responsible for training, as well as billing. In our office, Adrienne is primarily tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the financial side of the business runs smoothly, including billing, payroll, accounts payable, and the handling of all insurance claims. The intricacies of Adrienne's job require a person with incredible accuracy, an eye for detail, and a strong desire for perfection – all of which she embodies. Adrienne is quick to lend a hand to anyone she meets, and has truly enjoyed getting to know the seniors we serve here in the Brazos Valley. Each time she returns from meeting a client she is all smiles and can't wait to tell everyone what a great visit she had!

 

When she isn't working, Adrienne can be found running outdoors, spending quality time with her boyfriend Rodney, or building furniture and working on home improvement projects with her daughter, Ashley.​


Krystal Boren - Service Coordinator & Training Assistant

Krystal Boren - Service Coordinator & Training Assistant

Krystal Boren brings numerous years of ​​CAREGiver experience starting when she was in her teens and we are grateful that the last four of those years have been for our Home Instead Senior Care office.  In 2017 Krystal transitioned to our in-house Service Coordinator and Training Assistant and we couldn't be more excited for her and for us.  She brings a passion for helping people and has a desire to transfer her efforts from caring from her clients in their homes, to now helping even more people through providing the best matches for our clients and CAREGivers.  She truly gets excited when she sees how well a client and CAREGiver get along, because she knows from experience, the importance in that personal connection.  

Krystal moved to College Station in 2012 with her husband Dylan, daughter Villi Rose, and dog Chauncii.  While she is originally from Illinois, she loves the Bryan/College Station area and is happy to call the Brazos Valley home.  We are excited to have Krystal as part of our team.  



Brittny Messer - Director of Human Resources

Brittny Messer - Director of Human Resources

Brittny Messer is a Human Resource Professional with numerous years of experience in recruitment and talent retention. Prior to Home Instead Senior Care, Brittny held the position of Client Service Coordinator for a local home health and hospice agency. Brittny specializes in helping CAREGivers strengthen their skill set to provide quality service to our valued Clients. Her autonomy and passion for the field make her an asset to the Home Instead Senior Care team.  She received her Bachelors of Business in Human Resource Management from Tarleton State University and is currently pursuing her Graduate Degree from Southern New Hampshire University.

Brittny moved to College Station from Stephenville Texas with her husband Andrew, dog Dingo and cat Jack. In her free time, she enjoys painting, writing, and watching sitcoms. 



Joe Orr - Director of Marketing

Joe Orr - Director of Marketing

​Joe Orr is the Marketing Director for Home Instead Senior Care.  Joe is a lifelong B/CS resident who has a passion for helping others.   Joe has spent the last 20 years working in business development and marketing in the hospitality industry.   He feels a strong commitment to serving others in his community.  Helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life is very fulfilling work and Joe's passion for serving others is apparent in his interactions with our clients.  Joe grew up in Bryan and graduated from Sam Houston State University.  He and his wife, Kristie, have 3 daughters who keep them quite busy.   When Joe isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his family and volunteers with a mentoring program at his church.

Dianna Lilly - Administrative Assistant

​A member of the Home Instead Senior Care team since January, 2018, Dianna joined our team and she is very excited about working with our seniors and others in need of our services.  She also had family members that required senior care so she knows all too well about good Caregiver and Client Relations.
