An estimated 70 percent of people with Alzheimer’s live at home, with the responsibility of care for them usually falling on their families. While it may be impossible to predict behaviors exhibited by a person struggling with Alzheimer’s, there are FREE resources available to help families in Blair and Cambria counties cope with the disease. To help local families who are living with Alzheimer’s, we are offering a workshop where families will receive a version of the same in-depth Alzheimer’s CARE: Changing Through Research and Education program. The program was designed to help train the network’s professional CAREGivers.
