Home Instead Senior Care was the proud 'Lunch Sponsor' at the St. Paul's Geriatrics conference held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on April 6, 2018. In a very impressive selection of participants, the conference attracted more than 300 attendees involved in various facets of senior care from within different communities within BC including Burnaby and South Vancouver.
The full day conference started with impressive key note speeches and then broke-off into a series of workshops run in parallel on various pertinent topics related to senior care and aging.
The exhibit booths were on display throughout the day and visiting delegates accessed the various exhibits, including the Home Instead Senior Care booth during the breaks, including the lunch hour.
The booth interactions with various attendees – many of whom were from provincial health authorities – were very effective. The scope and depth of knowledge of the attendees was evident and the Home Instead team did a great job on answering questions about our service offerings including relating to Companionship and Home Helper services, Personal Care and Hygiene support, Alzheimer's and Dementia care, Respite / Transition care, Palliative and Hospice support etc.
For the entire BC Home Instead Senior Care network it
was a proud opportunity to be lunch sponsor in support of a seminal conference
on senior issues and to solidify its resolve to change the face of aging within
