Barbara is our registered nurse on staff who is responsible for monitoring the care plan through quality assurance visits and maintaining regular communication with clients and families. She assists clients and family in addressing and reevaluating care needs, finding alternative living situations, and working with home health and hospice agencies that may be providing care to our clients in their homes. She started her career with Home Instead as a Professional CAREGiver in 2012.
Jane has been with Home Instead Senior Care Denver North
since 2014 when she started out as a CAREGiver.
She was recognized very early for her outstanding caregiving and
professionalism and was nominated as our CAREGiver of the Year in 2015! Jane became our Quality Assurance Coordinator
in 2018 reaching out to new CAREGivers and conducting assessment reviews and
in-depth individualized training to help them prepare for their first
shifts. Jane’s professional past has led
her to her career with us today. She
started out as a Certified Veterinary Technician running a veterinary operating
room and training vet tech students as well.
For over 10 years she and her husband volunteered as puppy raisers for
guide dogs who serve the blind raising over a dozen puppies! When a couple of those dogs retired and
became her own, she began taking her dogs to local hospitals working with the
physical, occupational, and recreation therapists providing animal assisted
therapy. Over the years, Jane has also
worked as a photographic artist, enjoys gardening and spending time with her
Mary is a Certified Nursing Assistant with experience caring
for hospice, dementia, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and transitional care
clients. She joined the Home Instead
Denver North team in 2015 as a CAREGiver and has now evolved into an in-office
staff role. As Quality Assurance
Specialist, Mary conducts regular quarterly visits with our clients to ensure
quality care and update client assessments and care needs. In addition to performing and documenting
quality assurance visits, Mary conducts client and new caregiver introductions,
and she is also taking on the role of trainer where she will be training our
team of CAREGivers on providing high-quality, compassionate hospice care among
other courses. When she isn’t working,
Mary enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and their
two border collies!
Sarah oversees the team responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules for our clients and their CAREGiver's, recognizing the importance of compatibility, reliability and continuity. Sarah strives to ensure the clients' and CAREGiver's experiences exceed expectations and are rewarding and fulfilling. She also manages the long term care insurance programs that are serving our clients, and assists with billing and payroll. She started her career with Home Instead as a Professional CAREGiver in 2012.
Laura works closely with hospitals, physician groups,
care communities, rehab centers, and other care resources throughout the Denver
metro area to understand their home care needs and to ensure Home Instead
Senior Care is exceeding expectations as a home care partner through the range
of services available. Laura joined our team in October 2014, and is active
within the community developing relationships to build Home Instead's brand
strength, researching and pursuing new opportunities for success strategies,
and educating community leadership and advocacy groups on Home Instead
resources and solutions with respect to senior care issues. Before joining Home
Instead, Laura spent many years as a sales and marketing professional in the
hospitality industry and also owns a software technology company with her
husband. In her time away from work, she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking with
her dogs, and spending family time at her kids' baseball games and dance
Libbie works closely with clients and families to address
their needs, initiate services and maintain quality care. She started her
career with Home Instead Senior Care in 2009 as a professional Caregiver.
In 2018 Libbie was certified by the National Council for Behavioral Health in
Mental Health for Aging Adults. She attended Metropolitan State
University in 1988 with a focus on business and psychology. In her time
away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, donating her
time and energy to the MS Society and volunteering at local food banks.
Jill works closely with members of our staff, our CAREGivers, care communities, and other care resources throughout the Denver metro area with respect to Home Instead's training and family support programs, with an emphasis on Alzheimer's and other dementia care. Jill regularly provides resources and important information to Denver families with respect to senior care issues. Jill joined our team in November 2015. Jill's expertise in Alzheimer's and other dementia care will only further enhance our already world-class training so that families can be even more confident that their loved ones are receiving quality care.
Mary manages the front end of office operations. She manages file containment and retention for staff and clients, and ensures product and services are in place for efficient office functioning. She also serves as backup to the recruiting initiatives of our office. She started her career with Home Instead as a Professional CAREGiver in 2008.
conducts our new CAREGiver Orientation and Training Programs as well as our
Hospice Training Program. In addition to her training responsibilities,
Vickie also represents us for Quality Assurance Visits as well as being an active CAREGiver. Vickie is passionate about providing
dedicated and superior care to our seniors since 2011! She refers to her
clients as her “sweetheart seniors” and she ensures that our trainees are knowledgeable
and prepared when it comes to caring for clients in their homes. Vickie
enjoys her grandchildren, gardening, and making candies and other goodies.
the creation and coordination of client schedules under the Scheduling
Manager. Kassi has worked in the
healthcare industry most of her adult life.
Her past professional experience includes positions as a home health
aide, a CNA, a medical assistant, an Alzheimer’s house manager, as well as a
scheduler for an urgent care company.
Kassi graduated 2016 with honors with a degree in Healthcare
Administration. She is married with four
children and a granddaughter. When not working or enjoying her family,
Kassi enjoys exploring new recipes, home improvement projects, watching movies,
taking pictures, and Zumba!!
