Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about our team. I am beyond blessed to serve local seniors, employ the very best CAREGivers and to lead a successful, compassionate and hard-working team, all of which I consider family. I began working with Home Instead Senior Care in 2000. What a journey it has been! I was born and raised in Estill Springs, TN. I have 3 children that are my pride and joy. I chose to work with Home Instead Senior Care because I have a passion to serve and care for people. I can honestly say there is nothing I would rather be doing with my time. Our team is a group of amazing individuals who each possess several qualities that are geared towards providing the best quality care for local seniors. If you are interested in care for your loved ones or a career as a CAREGiver, you have come to the right place! We look forward to serving you!
My first experience working with seniors came right after high school when I cared for a handful of residents at a facility for seniors with mental disabilities. From day one I was hooked! Over the years I continued caring for seniors and felt blessed to wake up every morning excited to go to work. Now, as the Office Manager for Home Instead Senior Care, I don't take care of our clients, but I am blessed to act as an advocate for them by overseeing the coordination of their care. This work is truly where my heart is!
I was born in Puerto Rico. I have traveled a lot in my life through the United States, because I am a military brat. I am married with children. We have 3 dogs. I love my family and my furry babies. Most of my life I have been surrounded by nurses, teachers, and military personnel. To me, they all serviced the community. I wanted to do the same. I have an aunt who is my world. She was a nun (teacher) and a nurse. She showed me what caring for others is all about. She now has Alzheimer's Disease. This is my way of honoring her.
I have been scheduling for over 9 years. From my first interview with Home Instead I knew this was the place for me. The place with the heart. I see it and feel it every day. Knowing I can schedule a wonderful CAREGiver with a client gives me peace in my heart.
I grew up in Winchester, TN. I am the youngest of 10 children. Drawing and painting is something I've loved to do since I was about 4 years old. I've worked in a couple of different fields, but I felt drawn to Home Instead because I was raised by a caregiver (my Mom) She always cared for those who were elderly or just needed a friend. However, much of the caregiving I witnessed from her and from my siblings, was for my oldest brother who is physically and mentally handicapped. It was a major part of my growing up, and I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to learn the things I did from my Mom and brother. My sisters were PCA's and CNA's, so I was around caregiving in many different facets from a young age.
After High School, I did caregiving for a little while until I left to spend a summer out west. Music has always been extremely important to me. I worked at a radio station for a couple of years and was the lead singer of a band for about 3 years. I play a few instruments, some better than others but I can play them :D
I enjoy working for Home Instead because of their values and desire to truly care for their clients and CAREGivers as people.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Hey y'all! I have such a heart for people, and that passion carries over into my career. I love serving others and my career has given me the avenue to do so. I was born in Texas, and moved to Middle Tennessee when I was younger, and have lived here and raised my family here. I have experience in pharmaceutical services to assisted living, skilled nursing homes, and behavioral health communities. I also have previous in-home care services experience and knowledge that will allow me to serve you in the very best way possible. I am very blessed to be part of a team that has a similar servant's heart and the will to serve others in the same capacity. I am excited to work at Home Instead as the Home Care Consultant so I can continue to be a part of helping change people's lives and making an impact on our community.
I am a mother of 4 beautiful children who are my heart and soul. I became a CNA at the age of 17, and held a CNA license for 8 years. During those 8 years I found home health. I enjoyed providing IN HOME care to the elderly .Being able to assist them while they live in the comfort of their own home is the most rewarding job! I became a CAREgiver for Home Instead, and as much as I loved it, I was ecstatic when they offered me the recruiting positon for their company! I now get to provide caring and loving CAREgivers to the elderly in our community. I am more than excited to be able to grow with such an amazing company as Home Instead Senior Care.
I was born and raised in Davenport, IA. I resigned after 32 years with the Davenport Public School System to relocate with my husband to Lascassas, TN in October 2012. I have one daughter. I enjoy reading, hiking and boating. I really enjoy working with children and seniors. I joined Home Instead Senior Care in January 2013 as the Murfreesboro Office Manager. I hope to learn and grow with this great company for many years.
"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
