Deep breathing and meditation are still the main ways to cope, but here are a few additional tips. We've mentioned this before, but Adult Coloring Books are a great way to engage your clients and help them to maintain a calm state of mind. We have a book of coloring copies in Julie's office if you want to borrow some from there. Animal, jungle, floral, and Zen-inspired mandalas are popular right now; and there are many colored pencil options. Julie also told me to coat your finished product with vegetable oil to make it translucent, and it works!
Dr. Alfonso DiCarlo recently presented a Stress Management workshop at the office. He started with the statement that your body can last 150 years — as long as you eat fruits, vegetables and proteins that are NOT man-made.
