  3. Alzheimer's and Dementia Technology Expands in Lehigh County

For caregivers and families of those with Alzheimer's and related dementias, more good news has come to Lehigh County. Project Lifesaver, is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, the first national organization to pioneer and apply tracking technology for the search and rescue of individuals with cognitive disorders​, including those with dementia. Project Lifesaver has been working locally with the City of Allentown​ for some time and has just announced that another partnership to expand service in Salisbury Township. The expansion was made possible by a grant from Lehigh Valley Hospital Network.
