Families and caregivers dealing with the effects of dementia & Alzheimer's Disease have a great resource in the local Alzheimer's Association chapter. The Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter offers regularly scheduled gathering for caregivers, family and friends of individuals with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. Caregiver support groups enable people to discuss best practices and offer supportive listening. Support groups meet once per month unless otherwise listed and are facilitated by trained volunteers. For other helpful information for Alzheimer’s caregivers, please visit the Chapter website at alz.org/delval or call our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900. Listings may change with short notice. Please call the 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900 for up-to-date information about individual listings.
