Our Social Purpose

Our social purpose starts in Owasso, OK but it carries on across the world.

The Home Instead network works to create a world where people own their aging journeys. We want all generations to age on their own terms, authentic to who they are as unique individuals, and connected to things that provide them with purpose.

This vision drives us to expand the world’s capacity to care.

Giving Back

Home Instead helps older adults age with greater hope and success whether they're our clients or not. Because we believe everyone deserves to age with grace and dignity, we strive to make that vision a reality by creating a world that's ready to care for each other.

From our involvement with the Walk to End Alzheimer's or our holiday give-back program, Be a Santa to a Senior, Home Instead is out to make a difference.

2023 "Be a Santa to a Senior" Testimonial

Kind Words from Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa

I wanted to reach out to thank you all for helping make the "Be a Santa to a Senior" (BASTAS) initiative such a success, with over 1,000 gifts being donated by the community! We have already received a lot of positive feedback from clients letting us know how thankful they are, and the volunteer drivers had a great time being Santa for a day. Many volunteers saw our clients take the blankets out of the gift bags and wrap themselves up in them right away! The program was featured in a heartwarming story on Channel 2 News. The reporter, Douglas, helped that day by taking meals and gifts to our clients, just like our regular volunteer drivers. One of the clients on his route was Willie, a WWII veteran who just recently turned 100 years old! Another client interviewed for the news story was Lea, who struggles with vision issues due to having a stroke. The organization NewView Oklahoma Center for Low Vision and Blindness Tulsa was so touched by her story, that they are going to reach out and offer their assistance, free of charge! Clearly BASTAS has had a positive impact on the community, in maybe more ways than we could have expected. We even have other groups already asking how they can help participate this coming holiday season! Thank you again for your continued support and collaboration, and feel free to reach out anytime. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
