About Us
Meet Our Team
Eric Carr 2024

Eric Carr, Franchise Owner / Services Director

As Franchise Owner and Services Director, Eric leads the Home Instead of Culver City support team in all areas of care, training, and community relations.

"I've worked in healthcare for 20 years, and I feel fortunate to enjoy meaningful work that makes a tangible difference in peoples' lives. Home Instead empowers people to age and thrive in place - in the home and community that they love."

Eric feels deep respect and admiration for the love and commitment of family caregivers, and he also sees how challenging it is for family members to care for an aging or disabled loved one while managing other career, parenting and life responsibilities. "Everyone needs support, especially family caregivers who can't always be there when a loved-one needs help. Bringing peace-of-mind to family caregivers is a hugely rewarding part of the work we do."

Outside of work, Eric enjoys live music of all sorts, cooking with family and friends, and staying active outdoors.

My parents spent their whole lives raising four kids, and it's our turn to give back and take care of them. Seniors have so much knowledge and expertise to share!" After working at a senior living facility, she became more interested helping seniors and their families afflicted with dementia and Alzheimer's.

"I have worked in healthcare for over 30yrs" said Diane. "As an RN, I often saw seniors being admitted to the hospital and how challenging it was when it came time for them to go home. Many lived alone and needed support to stay healthy and safe at home".

"I was always interested in having my own business but I definitely still wanted to be in the business of caring for others." Diane carefully considered her options and "Home Instead was by far the best opportunity to serve seniors, wherever they called home. I love the close interactions we have with clients and their families. It is what enables us to provide quality care for the seniors we serve, as we strive to change the face of aging".
