When my parents moved in with us and needed more care, Home Instead was truly wonderful. Charlene sat down with us and listened and worked with us to develop a care plan for both of my parents. Our caregiver, Stephanie, became a special part of our family. They have such attention to detail and everything was done with such patience and love. As my parents physically and cognitively declined, Stephanie always treated them with respect and found common ground to engage them mentally, socially, and physically. We cannot thank Home Instead enough for giving my parents such a wonderful quality of life.

They took every worry off my shoulders, made sure my needs were met including reading what to do about my special disability needs, and were absolutely kind, caring, and respectful in what was a traumatic series of medical procedures. I visited a long time friend of the family today who has dementia. A Home Instead caregiver named Samantha Gonzales was my friends caregiver. She is so good with my friend. Caring and professional with her patient and approachable to the the patients family. What an asset she is to Home Instead and I’m thankful my family friend had her caring for her.
Home Instead Caregivers are great; really kind and caring. They come with lots of creative ideas to make our lives more fun and interesting. For example she brought a birdhouse to paint, and cards to play with.
I engaged Home Instead Santa Clarita over many years as my spouse declined due to Alzheimer's disease. Her care needs progressed from needing only companionship and supervision, through the middle stages of confusion and agitation, then the final stages of being bed bound and incontinent. Throughout this progression, Home Instead provided caregivers who met our needs reliably, efficiently and humanely. They were well screened, trained and supervised. The home office support was responsive and communicated effectively. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in our situation and would use them again if needed.
We have been using Home Instead for 3+ years for our Mother's care. We couldn't ask for more compassionate people to take care of our mother. Our family found it necessary to secure 24/7 care for my 97 year old mother so we reached out to Home Instead. They have been very kind and understanding to her needs. Mom says she feels "cared for". It has also allowed her to remain in her own home. The caregivers have been wonderful and feel like part of our family.
This service is helpful not only for clients at home, but also for extra services needed for those in assisted living -- those who are not quite ready for memory care, but still need extra help. This service has helped my mom stay in the community she loves, near friends and activities, even though I am 3 hours away. The agency is there every day to help her get up, showered and dressed, as well as getting her to medical appointments.
Home Instead has been amazing. We started off with just a couple hours a week and have progressively moved to 8 hours a day. They have been extremely accommodating with our ever-changing requests. We even needed to request 24/7 care for my father while I went out of town for a few days. Luckily, our normal aide was able to work these days. Not only was I at ease knowing she was there while I was away, my father was too as he knew her and had already built up a trusting relationship with her. Our Home Instead home health aide has been able to assist with bathing , medications, meals, visitors, and our 3 dogs. They help find the perfect fit for all and ensure my father’s needs are met and give me a positive outreach as well. Thank you Home Instead!!!
I have been a client for 3 years. My needs have changed and Home Instead is always able to provide competent, skilled caregivers to meet those needs. They help me care for my 2 cats and bird. They are also flexible and able to accommodate doctors appointments, family events, etc.

Home Instead Senior Care was a very professional organization. They were a very hands-on company. They really took good care of their caregivers and they provided continuing education for them. They made sure that their caregivers knew what they were doing in the situation. The caregivers were really committed to my mom in providing excellent care.
