'Tis the season of giving, and Home Instead is delighted to spread holiday cheer through its annual "Be a Santa to a Senior" program. This year, we're excited to announce that The Dilly Dally ice cream shop at 511 Eddy Street, Salem, VA, is joining us as a host for one of our special trees.
The concept is simple but powerful—ornament-shaped tags on the tree represent specific gift requests from seniors under Home Instead's care. We invite our generous neighbors to select a tag, purchase and wrap the requested item, and return the gift with its tag to the drop-off box at The Dilly Dally. This act of kindness goes a long way in making the holidays brighter for those who may otherwise feel isolated.
