Meet Our Team

To us, it is personal. Owners Bob and Joyce Brasher have faced decisions that you are currently facing. Bob, losing a father to Alzheimers Disease, understands the importance of a caregiver who understood the disease and could work with his mom as she struggled to accept someone else coming into her home. When Joyce began providing care for her father who was diagnosed with a multitude of health problems she realized she would need help. Her mother would not be able to care for him around the clock and stay well herself. Living out of town, Joyce had to place her trust in caregivers outside of family members. They recognize the importance and inner struggle of a changing role from daughter/son to care provider.

After starting as a CAREGiver in April 2009, Hannah found her way into the office and has built her career working in multiple departments. She is currently the General Manager and loves being a listening ear and guiding hand for both clients and CAREGivers. She has 15 years' experience in the healthcare field and has been a Certified Senior Advisor since October 2011. Using her knowledge and personal experience, Hannah serves as a mentor for our clients and their families during such a critical decision making process. She has made a complete career change in order to fulfill, what she feels, is her purpose in life and that is to make a difference in the lives of those who have given us so much. For Hannah, "To Us It's Personal" is more than just a tagline.

Sebrina began working at Home Instead in April of 2018, but she moved to the city of Huntsville in 2013 from the Middle Tennessee area. She graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, and is currently earning her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Sebrina has two children and two dogs that she loves to spend time with. She also enjoys hiking, obstacle course runs, cooking, and reading. Sebrina is an important member of our team, and we appreciate her hard work. 

Missy has 22 years of experience across a wide spectrum of the healthcare industry. She leverages her knowledge and experience to represent Home Instead Senior Care as your go-to expert to provide the community with solutions to their aging needs. When Missy is not representing Home Instead, she sells real estate in North Alabama and spends time with her family. 

Vanessa started with Home Instead in 2010 as a CAREGiver. She always found a way to go above and beyond for her clients and even helped pull extra shifts for staffing. In​ 2012, she was promoted to our Client Care Department. Currently, she oversees the Scheduling Department and  the Client Care Department. She makes it her personal mission to ensure the safety of our clients and CAREProfessionals. Many times, Vanessa is the solution to a hopeless situation. She forms a bond with our clients and their families. Our clients' families trust Vanessa and appreciate her advice for the best care solutions and the newest and safest products to make our clients' lives easier.

Kelvin started working in the healthcare industry after high school. He didn't have a clear direction in his desired career path until he found his home at Home Instead. He has a wide range of experience from patient care technician, phlebotomy, fast-food management, and computer repair. His goal is to provide the best customer service possible and loves to make people laugh. Kelvin's favorite color is clear and would like to wish everyone a delicious day.

Greg has lived in Huntsville since 1988.  He and his family have been members of First Baptist Church for those 34 years.  Greg has served the community in multiple healthcare-related positions.  These include pharmaceutical sales, home health, hospice, assisted living/memory care, and home care.  His goal is to help every one of his clients live their lives to the fullest, whatever that means to them.  Because caring is not just a job - it's a calling.  Greg is not content to simply help people get through the day - he wants to help them have the best day possible - filled with joy,  accomplishment, and exceptional care.  It's all about helping people!

In June 2022, she joined our Home Instead team as our HR Assistant Manager. Candy began her career in healthcare in 2009 as a Home Health Aide in an Assisted Living Facility in Minnesota. She worked herself up in the company and soon became the Administrator. In 2015, Candy and her family moved in Alabama and continued to work as Director of Personal Care Services in a home health agency. Candy has an infectious positive attitude and high standard of care. She has an Associate’s degree in Health Information Technician and is currently studying to become a Registered Nurse in Wallace State Community College. Candy loves to spend time with her husband of 17 years and her two daughters.

Denise began with Home Instead in March of 2023, and she moved to Huntsville from Texas about 4 years ago. She attended Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO., and studied Mass Communications. Denise retired from AT&T after 25 years, and her responsibilities included training and development along with program management. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening with her mom, and biking. She is very creative and loves to stage and decorate homes as well as plan events. Denise is a mom and a Nana who strives to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone she comes in contact with. Denise is a great addition to the Home Instead team.  

Shelby began her career with Home Instead in June of 2023 in the Human Resources department. She currently attends Calhoun Community College, and she will graduate with her Associates in Social Work in December of 2023. Shelby is a mom of five, so she is always attending sports and other school activities. She also enjoys spending her free time watching a good show on Netflix or reading a good book. Shelby is a great addition to the Home Instead team, and we are grateful for her hard work and dedication. 

Tara joined the Home Instead team in August of 2022. She has lived in Grant, Alabama for the last 13 years. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2008 with a B.S. Psychology degree. Tara began her career in the childcare field, but swapped to the medical field 9 years ago. She and her husband, Josh, have two daughters, and they love Alabama football and dirt car racing. They enjoy watching their kids race!

Hannah moved to Huntsville and began with Home Instead in June of 2023. She graduated with her Business Management degree from Itawamba Community College. She has previously worked as a multi-unit and multi-state recruiter, and she is looking forward to her new role here. In her free time, Hannah and her wife love cooking, hiking, and living their best lives with their Dachshund. We are happy to have Hannah join the Home Instead team.

Anna has been with Home Instead since March 2021 and began as a receptionist. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology. She then earned her Master's in Public Policy in 2020 from Georgia State University. Anna enjoys teaching orientation to all of our new CAREGivers and using her 8+ years of customer service experience to make all employees feel welcome at Home Instead. 

Sandy began at Home Instead in August of 2022 after moving to Huntsville. She enjoys taking courses in various subjects including the dietitian/nutrition field. Sandy is retired from 24 years of serving as a lunch lady, and she managed High School Kitchen in Beacon, NY where over 450 students were served. She loves spending time with her family including her husband, sons, and daughters-in-law. Sandy is a very happy individual who loves to be organized, and in her free time she enjoys crafting and quilting.
