Betsy Miller is the Owner and Administrator of Home Instead of West Jacksonville. Betsy attended Florida State University and received a degree in finance. Betsy has experience in marketing, office support and senior care. After spending time working in the finance world, she and her husband decided to transition into the home healthcare world due to personal experience and compassion. She is also a member of the Clay County Senior Advocacy Council. She sponsors "Be A Santa to a Senior", the Orange Park Senior Center Christmas Party and the Clay County Senior Pageant. ​​In her free time, Betsy loves playing golf and tennis, and spending time with her family.

Christian Miller is the President and Owner of Home Instead of West Jacksonville. He attended Florida State University and received a degree in economics and accounting. After graduating from Florida State University, Christian attended Jacksonville University and received his MBA. He jumped into the world of finance and became a CPA. His past experience includes the position of CFO for Creative Learning Corporation, Controller for Pinovia Holdings, Pilot Pen and Trailer Bridge. In his free time, Christian enjoys reading, playing golf and watching his children play sports.

Daphnee Newton was born in Haiti raised in Boston by two hard working immigrant parents oldest of 4 children. She served her country in the Army National Guard; she has won a Circle of Excellence Award for her work in healthcare education. She’s a Registered Nurse who has worked in a variety of areas from mental health, trauma, hospice, and nursing education.

She is the founder and CEO of The Brand Ambassador LLC. She’s known for pushing herself to the limit so her talent will surface. People are her priority; nursing is her passion. She truly embodies the words of Gandhi “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” She has taken that passion along with her caring hands and heart to those she serves.

Crystal was born and raised in Mississippi. She relocated to FL in 2010. She attended Southern Illinois University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development. She began working in the Hospitality Industry holding various positions for about 10 years. She worked as a caregiver for 7 ½ years. In her free time, Crystal loves reading, going out on the boat, and spending time with her family.

Vikki Stenborg is an LPN, licensed at Stanbridge College in Irvine, California in 2008. She moved to Florida twelve years ago. Vikki has worked in private duty health care, pediatrics, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. She joins our team as the Client Care Manager and is responsible for Client Consultations, Client/CarePro Introductions, Quality Assurance, and building relationships with our community providers.

Kayla was born and raised in Orange Park, FL.  She started off as a caregiver with Home Instead and within 2 months Kayla was promoted to client service coordinator. She is a mother of 2 children and loves spending time with them along her friends and family. She also loves crafting in her free time . In the future she plans to pursue a RN License. She wants to do something in her career that is challenging, Interesting, and makes a difference in people's lives as she did for both her grandparents while they were very critical. They have inspired her to keep giving to others in need.

Tangy Turkson was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She relocated to Florida in 2009 with her husband who is in the military. Tangy started in the home health field 15 years ago and has been a caregiver with Home Instead as well. Tangy has been part of the Home Instead team for over 3 years. She also held the role as a caregiver which gives her the upper hand when assisting caregivers and clients. Tangy is the proud Mother of 4 kids and Grandmother to 5 Grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts, embroidery, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She also has 2 dogs which she loves having around.

Megan McEachern was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.  She started pursuing a career and attending school to become a veterinary assistant. Megan than began taking care of both her great grandparents, and that is what inspired her to work as a caregiver. She started working in home health at an assisted living facility until relocating to Green Cove Springs FL. She than began her career with Home Instead as a caregiver, after 4 months of working with clients she was promoted to HR Assistant. She is a loving wife and mother to two amazing children. Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves animals, art, history, and desires to travel the world one day!
