VA Benefits

Which Veteran/Surviving Spouse is Eligible for VA Benefits?

We are proud to be a part of the VA Care Community as it ensures that veterans receive high-quality care in their own homes. The eligibility criteria for availing VA benefit includes:

  • Must have served 90 days of active duty, including 1 day during wartime
  • Surviving spouses or veterans should require assistance with daily activities, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Assets, excluding the home and car, must be within specified limits (up to $80,000 based on age/marital status)
  • Must have non-service-related medical conditions
  • Veterans must meet the Medical Expense-to-Income Ratio
  • Retired soldiers must require a protected environment due to chronic conditions
