Rain or shine, our Home Instead team of Lincoln, NE is dedicated to bringing smiles and care to the seniors of our area. On Valentine's Day, we braved the rain to deliver cards to seniors in the Lincoln and Seward Communities! Our Caregivers stopped in Ridgewood Rehabilitation and Care Center, Greene Place, Kinship Pointe Seward, Lied Senior Center, Immanuel, and Aging Partners senior center to deliver Valentine's Day cards.
Each of the cards was unique, sporting a handwritten letter and colored by some of the local children in Lincoln and Seward. The students were also encouraged to color and draw on the card to show the most love and creativity possible. The seniors who received the cards very much appreciated the time it took to not only make the cards but also hand deliver them throughout the rainy day.
