Andy Brittney2023

Andy & Brittney, Owners

Andy and Brittney are no strangers to caring for and serving people in their local community; with Brittney’s background in cosmetology and Andy’s in managing medical practices, their experience covers all ends of the spectrum. Their journey in senior care began at the Home Instead Global Headquarters in Omaha, NE. After witnessing the heart and soul put into equipping each Home Instead franchise with the knowledge, training, resources and skills needed to effectively run the best senior in-home care company across the world, they couldn’t wait to own a Home Instead of their own! Andy and Brittney relocated from Omaha to Lincoln to live and be available to the community in which they serve. They are blessed to be able to enhance the lives of seniors and their loved ones by providing unmatched in-home care as well as the opportunity to employ Care Professionals locally to live out their calling!

Brooke 2023 final

Brooke, Operations Manager

Brooke joined Home Instead in January of 2015 as a Service Coordinator and then was promoted to Service Manager. Brooke is now the Operations Manager. Brooke has a degree in Medical Administration and she has several years of experience working with seniors. Brooke oversees our administrative and caregiving team. She has a passion for developing strong relationships with our Care Professionals and clients and enjoys interacting with them daily. Brooke is persistent in overcoming challenges as they arise and looks forward to the variety that her position brings every day. Brooke enjoys spending time with her two boys, family and friends whether that be at the lake, at one of their sporting events or just relaxing at home!

 

Ashley Shum 2024

Ashley, Business Development Coordinator

Ashley joined us in early January as our new Business Development Coordinator. She has two degrees she obtained from Doane University and has previously worked in Human Relations for over 12 years prior to joining us. Ashley will be responsible for promoting, organizing and managing all social purpose events. Along with managing all relationships with community organizations, referring providers, and vendors. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her two children, one in college and the other a senior in high school. She also enjoys refurbishing furniture, reading, and going to the dog park with her rescue dog Kevin.

Cheryl2023

Cheryl, Office Coordinator

Cheryl joined Home Instead in January of 2013. She is the friendly face who greets visitors to our office, answers and directs calls and helps out wherever she is needed. She joined the team as an Office Coordinator in January of 2013. She loves visiting with clients, their families and Care Professionals when they call or visit the office. Cheryl truly loves working at Home Instead and enhancing the lives of our Seniors!

Vicki, Hiring and Compliance Coordinator

Vicki joined Home Instead in November 2017 as part of the scheduling team. During that time, she developed strong relationships with the Care Professionals and gained perspective on what it takes to make a great match between our clients and Care Pros. Vicki has pivoted her role and now works even more closely with Care Pros as the Hiring and Compliance Coordinator. She is ready to find the quality talent needed to care for our community and is sure to have fun while doing it! Born and raised in Lincoln, Vicki and her husband John raise three spunky girls, Danika, Ariana and Koraline. They love a new adventure!

Bradi 2023 final

Bradi, Client Care Coordinator

Bradi joined the Client Care Team in June of 2023. She moved back to Lincoln, Nebraska from Phoenix, Arizona after getting her degree in Health Care Administration at Grand Canyon University. Previously, she worked in the Gastroenterology and Customer Service industry. Bradi is eager to be in her hometown and serving clients and their families throughout their various journeys. She anticipates that her favorite part of the job will be building relationships with clients. In her free time, Bradi enjoys volunteering at various organizations, spending time with her family, and traveling to national parks. 

Alyssa 2023 final

Alyssa, Client Care Coordinator

Alyssa joined the Client Care Team in August of 2023. She moved to Lincoln from North Platte to pursue a degree in healthcare. She has a degree in Healthcare Administration and Management from Bryan College of Health Sciences here in Lincoln. Alyssa has a passion for developing relationships with her clients and getting to interact with them. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping or just relaxing at home!  

Misty 2024

Misty, Client Care Coordinator

Please welcome Misty to the Home Instead family! Misty joined us in February as the Client Care Coordinator at our new Seward office!

Misty is a Texas native, that moved to Nebraska with her Marine corps veteran husband to be near his hometown. She started working in the nursing field in 2016. Misty finds joy in caring for other people, especially the elderly, since a young age. Her and her husband raise their three boys and one daughter on their farm in the country filled with lots of animals. She enjoys staying busy with her kids’ many activities and cheering them on from the bleachers. In her free time Misty enjoys true crime documentaries and crafting.

Haley 2023 final

Haley, Client Care Administrative Assistant

Haley joined Home Instead in November of 2023 as our Client Care Administrative Assistant. She has a degree in sociology and psychology from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, and has several years of experience working with individuals in the human services field through the State of Nebraska. Haley has a passion for building relationships and helping others around her. In her free time, she enjoys reading and being home with her family.

Angie 2023 final

Angie, Lead Service Coordinator

Angie joined the Home Instead team in April of 2022. She moved to Lincoln in 2004 and much of her professional background is in dental insurance. Angie made the switch to personal wellness in 2021 at the Cooper YMCA, where she still teaches some senior classes. In her free time, she and her husband are always busy chasing their four children to one of their many activities.  

Noelle 2023

Noelle, Service Coordinator

Noelle joined Home Instead as a Service Coordinator in June of 2023. Noelle is excited to combine her appreciation for a tidy schedule with her love of serving others as a Service Coordinator. She is a Nebraska native and has a Bachelor's Degree from Midland University in Arts Management. Outside of work, Noelle enjoys any adventure that involves being outside or trying new foods! She loves spending time with her husband & their puppy!

Fayth2023

Fayth, On-Call Coordinator

Fayth joined the Home Instead team in July of 2021 as a Care Professional. As a Care Pro, she was always kind, practical and flexible with her schedule. Fayth has brought these qualities to the Service team and is always ready to help support other Care Pros. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafts and listening to music.
