Our Corporate Home Instead office in Green Bay, WI is looking for an IT Manager to join the team. The IT Manager at We Care Senior Care is tasked with the oversight of all IT operations, leveraging both vendor relationships and internal resources. This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of diverse IT equipment, including computers, phones, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and IT infrastructure. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set Up New Employee Computers: Provision and configure new computers for incoming employees, ensuring they are set up with necessary software and security protocols.
  • Manage IT Related Vendors: Collaborate with external vendors for IT services and solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring vendor performance meets company standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for the managed IT services provider, ensuring service levels are met and escalations are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain Essential IT Operations: Coordinate with external & internal resources to ensure operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and network infrastructure are effectively working. This includes implementation of business-critical IT tasks and system improvements.
  • Equipment Management and Lifecycle: Manage the lifecycle of IT equipment, including procurement, inventory management, maintenance, and disposal in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Cell Phones and iPads: Administer company cell phone and iPad programs using Mobile Device Management (MDM), including procurement, activation, configuration, and support for employees.
  • Lead Employee Education on Fundamental IT Scams and Phishing: Develop and conduct training sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, including identifying and avoiding common scams and phishing attempts.
  • Manage Phone System: Oversee the company's phone system, including configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and vendor selection and management.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
  • Oversee IT implementation for New Offices and Leases: Plan and coordinate IT infrastructure setup for new office locations or leased spaces, including network connectivity, equipment installation, and technology integration.
  • All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing IT systems, networks, and equipment.
  • Proven track record of vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
  • Experience with IT lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory management, and asset disposal.
  • Familiarity with managing phone systems and mobile device programs.
  • Experience overseeing IT setup for new offices or leases is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize work
