Home Instead Recognized As Leader In Franchising

Home Instead, the world's leading provider of in-home care for older adults, has earned prestigious accolades for its leadership from Entrepreneur, Franchise Times, and the Canadian Franchise Association. This flood of recognition reinforces the company's standing among elite franchise opportunities.

Entrepreneur included Home Instead in its inaugural Hall of Fame for being among its Franchise 500 for 26 consecutive years. Franchise Times named Home Instead to its Top 10 franchises to buy, and the leader in the Aging America category. The Canadian Franchise Association recognized Home Instead for innovation and giving back to the community.

"These honors and awards reflect the Home Instead commitment to our owners and our communities, recognizing our ability to serve the growing population of aging adults through the creation of outstanding opportunities for entrepreneurs," said Seth Sternberg, CEO of Honor, the parent company of Home Instead. "We have a strong team at the corporate level which supports our company goals, as well as the local operators of our franchises."

Entrepreneur Hall of Fame

Home Instead earned the distinction of being named to this elite Hall of Fame class by consistently ranking in Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 list for the past 26 years, surpassing the required 25 years of excellence. Only 49 companies made the Hall of Fame.

Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 list is compiled annually using various metrics, including cost and fees, support, size and growth, brand strength and financial strength/stability, based on franchisor disclosures. Businesses are scored based on 150 data points, and the highest-scored franchises earn a place on the Franchise 500.

Franchise Times Top 10 Brands to Buy

Franchise Times named Home Instead one of the Top 10 brands to buy in the Franchise Times annual Zor Awards and the top brand to buy in the Aging America category, citing the company's well-known brand name, established position in the market, and responsive and supportive corporate structure.

In producing the annual Zor Awards, Franchise Times conducts research to identify contenders in each category drawn from its Top 500 database. Contenders are evaluated based on metrics such as profitability for the franchisee, publicly available financial information, knowledge of management teams, recent media coverage, and other information shared in each brand's franchise disclosure document.

Canadian Franchise Association

The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) recently recognized Home Instead and profiled Ontario owner Greg Bechard for the innovative care and charitable service provided to communities across Canada.

For potential franchisees, the CFA listed many positives in Home Instead's business model, including franchisee-driven initiatives, quality assurances, and training. The CFA also noted Bechard's contributions to the charitable organizations across Ontario, including the Alzheimer's Society, Etobicoke Support Services, and CANES Community Care, among others.
