Here are just a few of the things you might do as a Home Instead Care Professional:

  • Provide companionship and conversation
  • Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
  • Assist with personal care, such as bathing and grooming
  • Assist with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
  • Pet care
  • Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands/shopping

Professional experience is NOT required; paid training is provided.

Pay: 17.00 to 21.00 per hour

Shifts Available:

  • Daytime Shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours from 7:00 am – 11:00 pm
  • Overnight Shifts Available from 8 hours to 12 hours from 9:00 pm - 9:00 am
  • Weekday and Weekend shifts are available.

Available after one year and if you meet minimum requirements:

Paid Vacation (based on your average number of hours worked)

Job requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Personal reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and driver's license required
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
  • Ability to travel within 30 miles of their home in Madison County, IL
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Ability to use basic technology (Cell phone apps) to be able to provide reports through our electronic system
