April 2024 Care Professional of the Month: Roxanne

Roxanne came to us with very little experience and only wanting to do female companion care. When asked to take care of a male client with specialized care she wasn’t sure she wanted to do that. With guidance and proper training, she has gone above and beyond and excelled at it. Roxanne became his main caregiver and had times where she was caring for him several days in a roll. Believe it or not she has mostly been caring for male clients and has really grown in her Caregiving role. I believe she can do anything she puts her mind to. We truly appreciate having Roxanne on our team.

March 2024 Care Professional of the Month: Rochelle

Rochelle is a very kind soul. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are well cared for. Rochelle always picks up extra shifts and helps the team out on very short notice. She is well loved by her clients and colleagues.  She always wears a smile on her face and her heart on her sleeve. We truly appreciate having Rochelle on our team.

February 2024 Care Professional of the Month: Wendy

Wendy is always willing to pick up a shift, even on short notice. She really cares for her clients as if they are her relatives. She’s always willing to lend a hand and fill in where needed. Wendy has even gone to the hospital to help care for a client after they have been admitted, making them feel comfortable and safe. She truly is a caring soul and even willing to try new skills to help a client. We truly appreciate having Wendy on our team.

January 2024 Care Professional of the Month: Dorina

Dorina is well loved by her clients as well as her colleagues. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy. Dorina is always requested as a favorite to come back after she has her first shift with them. She has a kind heart and soul and is very caring. Dorina is very responsible and never leaves a task undone. She’s always willing to lend a hand and fill in where needed. We truly appreciate having Dorina on our team.

December 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Rebecca

Rebecca has done great things in her short time with us. Her clients love her, and she leaves all their houses sparkling clean. She goes above and beyond to pick up extra shifts even on a short notice and never complains about it. She’s a very patient and kind-spirited person. She wasn’t sure she could do the job in the beginning but really grew into her role as a Care Pro. We truly appreciate having Rebecca on our team.

November 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Dave

Dave is well liked by his clients. He is such a kind and caring person. He truly cares about his client’s well-being. Dave always wears a smile on his face and is willing to lend a helping hand. He always steps up to help cover clients, even on short notice and never complains. He is an asset to the team. We truly appreciate having Dave on our team.

October 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Julie

Julie is well liked by her clients. She has made a great impression in her short time with Home Instead. She is well known at the facility that she provides care to her client in.  Julie spreads joy wherever she goes and is very personable. She Is always open to ongoing training and advancing her skills. We truly appreciate having Julie on our team.

September 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Kurt

Kurt is always willing to step in and cover shifts when needed even on short notice. Kurt has worked with many clients in his time with us and the feedback is always positive. He is reliable and always looking to enhance his skills. We truly appreciate having Kurt on our team.

August 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Monica

Monica has been with Home Instead for Just over 3 months but is already making a difference in the lives of her clients!  She goes above and beyond to cover and pick up shifts and is always willing to lend a hand. She Is a hard worker and very reliable. Monica has a big heart, and her clients just love her.

July 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Juana

Juana has been with Home Instead for almost one year!  She goes above and beyond to cover and pick up shifts and is always willing to lend a hand. She is a hard worker and very reliable. Juana has a big heart, and her clients just love her.

June 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Charlene Pattison

Charlene has been with Home Instead for over 2 years! She is the Queen of overnight care. Families sleep well knowing that she is on the clock caring for their loved ones. Everything Charlene does is full of heart and thoughtfulness no matter the task. May 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Lauren Appleby

Lauren has really grown into her role as a Care Professional! The impact she makes for her clients is outstanding! She makes sure they never miss an appointment and keeps the office in the loop. We appreciate her flexibility to client schedule changes, as she knows how important consistency is. Thank you, Lauren, for being a positive impact in your clients lives. Jeffry has been a part of our team for close to a year. He is an incredibly considerate person who always takes the initiative to give the best care to his clients. February 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Zarpana

Congratulations to Zarpana who is our February Care Pro of the month. She joined us as she works through her nursing degree and she is an excellent communicator with a passion for helping others! Congrats Zarpana!

January 2023 Care Professional of the Month: Irene Swan

Irene has been a member of the team for close to two years. She radiates positivity which envelops her clients and makes it easy to place her with many different personalities. She never backs down from a challenge and is always willing to learn new skills. She gives us strength and is a true inspiration. December 2022 Care Professional of the Month: Sandra Catalano

Sandra has been with Home Instead since July, 2022. She has worked with many different clients, and she always rises to each situation with care and poise. She is thoughtful, kind and understanding. Her stamina and ability to grow is incredibly admirable. We have chosen Karen Larsen for the month of November! She is one of our most dependable Care Professionals. She has made strong bonds with her clients built on trust and understanding. We would like to take the time to honor our Care Professional, Trudy Strand. Her dedication to her clients is admirable. She always goes the extra mile to ensure her clients' safety. June 2022 CARE Professional of the Month: Shirley Flaim

We would like to take the time to honor Care Professional, Shirley Flaim. Your dedication to your clients is admirable. You take the time to understand their needs and meet them with kindness and compassion. Even when your client went into rehab, you take the time to still meet with her, so she isn't lonely. January 2022 CAREGiver of the Month: Sheri Audette

Sheri, you continue to go above and beyond to make sure your clients are taken care of. Not only are you flexible with their needs or schedules, but you also ensure protection. An example of this would be how you saved your client from a scam that could have cost her thousands. Thank you for being such a strong advocate and protector. We are beyond blessed to have such an impactful CAREGiver for our clients.

2021 Care Professional of the Year: Debra Menegos

In our selection of the Care Professional of the Year, we reviewed our 12 Caregiver of the Month Award winners of the last year and decided WHICH single caregiver stood out as our office's Care Pro of the Year. This was no easy task! We are blessed to have amazing caregivers that put the needs of themselves to the side to care for another person day in and day out. To say that selecting a single winner was a challenge is an understatement.

Here are a few words about our 2021 Care Professional of the Year:

• This caregiver has worked nearly 2000 hours in the last year! If you do the math on that, she has spent 83 DAYS of her last year caring for seniors in Sun City, AZ!
• When we were doing our analysis of what makes this person a reliable example for our office, we found that she had ZERO call offs from her assigned shifts! Yep, during the height of a pandemic, this person did not miss a single shift!
• How many shifts did she work…..well it was 538 shifts!
• This person works any time of the day, including evenings and overnights. She has no limits on where she is willing to step in and help.
• And not only did she not call off of any shift, she was on time 99% of the time. When this person says she is working, not only can WE as an office feel confident she will be there BUT our client knows they can trust and rely on her being there! That is priceless to everyone!
• This person currently takes care of 5 regular clients each week! These are long-term, regular shifts that get to see her smiling face and sweet personality each week.
• In addition to these 5 regular clients, she has stepped into numerous other clients to either make a great first impression, to help cover a shift that was vacant, or just because she cared enough to ask how she could help. In total, she has worked with 41 Clients over the last 12 months!! That’s Incredible!

We can share that on one particular night when we had an overnight shift—we called this caregiver to ask if she would help with an overnight coverage. She is always kind, always sweet and never rude to us when we have to call and ask what sometimes feels unthinkable. We politely explained that we were working through some options. She said, "I’m in bed in my pajamas, but if you can’t find someone shortly—then call me back and I will go do the shift." This is just an example of how she is always willing to answer the call and be available to help a senior!

December 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Stacie Peters

We have been blown away by the commitment and integrity you have brought to Home Instead throughout your journey. You have an amazing way of providing such great experiences for your clients. It is evident that you put your heart into each encounter. Thank you for leading and sharing your heart with not only your clients but with the office staff. We enjoy hearing about the journeys you have with your clients and seeing the joy on their faces through pictures. You truly make us better! Congratulations Stacie!

November 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Giohanna Waller

Giohanna is a fantastic example of what CAREGiver of the Month is all about. She is kind, patient, dependable and committed to her client's well-being. She has stepped in many times to make sure clients are taken care of and do not go without care. Clients are drawn to her heart and compassion that exudes from every interaction. Other caregivers can learn by her example on how to put your heart into every care situation. We love that we trust Giohanna to take the lead in a difficult situation and make them better. She has been the source of strength for many families with loved ones in Hospice situations. Her calm demeanor and warm smile are truly a source of comfort. Congratulations Giohanna!

October 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Marty Harrison

Marty is one of the most committed and long-term CAREGivers on our team. She is an example of what being an exceptional CAREGiver looks like. She is reliable, loyal, fun, caring, trustworthy and committed to her client's well-being. She cares truly from her heart - FOR EVERYONE- clients, the family and other caregivers. The staff knows they can rely and trust her input on any client and family situation. Clients naturally trust Marty and she immediately becomes a reliable resource to them and their family members. Other caregivers enjoy having her a part of the care team working with a client because they know she will put her full energy into their care. She is reliable, engaged, on time and capable. She is a great communicator and takes time to do her job above & beyond. She is a pure joy to talk to.

September 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Elisha Terepocki

Elisha is a fantastic example of what being an exceptional CAREGiver is about. She is reliable, loyal, caring, hard-working, and committed to her client's wellbeing. She takes her personal experiences as a family caregiver and applies them to her clients. Elisha is always up for an assignment! Day, Night, weekend or overnight - She is a person that knows how to get to "yes" in order to help others be well. Elisha manages her personal caregiving schedule on top of completing her personal goals of attending school. You would never know that she has multiple commitments, because she meets all of them without fail. The office team has worked closely with Elisha since she was hired and knows that she understands the work completed here is only possible because of excellent caregivers like herself.

August 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Karen Peterson

Karen is a fantastic example of what being an exceptional CAREGiver is about. She is reliable, loyal, fun, caring, trustworthy and committed to her client's well-being. She is a role model to so many people! The staff of the office know they can rely and trust Karen's input on any client and family situation. Clients naturally trust Karen and she immediately becomes a reliable resource to them and their family members. Other caregivers can learn by Karen's example. She is reliable, engaged, on time and capable. She is a great communicator and takes time to do her job above & beyond. She is a pure joy to talk to. Karen shares her experience and own personal life lessions to provide great care. I know we are blessed to have Karen on our team and her clients are also blessed!

July 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Paul Bodjanac

Paul has been an outstanding contributor to the care of our seniors. He is a very understanding and compassionate CAREGiver. He works to keep his clients engaged in meaningful activities, always giving his client's 100%. On top of being a selfless and devoted CAREGiver -- in his down time, Paul is a high school teacher and a military veteran. We recognize all the hard work Paul has contributed to seniors and to their families. We appreciate all you do and are so happy to recognize you!

June 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Vivian Reynolds

Vivian has been an outstanding contributor to the care of our seniors. She has been dedicated to being a CAREGiver for Home Instead for almost 10 years. She has touched so many lives during that time and is making a difference everywhere she goes. We can confidently place Vivian in any situation due to her outstanding abilities. She is a favorite amongst clients! She provides a sense of ease to each situation and is dedicated to her clients. May 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Rebecca Gutierrez

Rebecca jumps in and helps with many clients, making a difference and touching the lives of everyone she helps. No matter what the need is, Rebecca dives right in and gets the job done with a smile that brightens everyone's day. She often rearranges her day to help 'just one more client.' She is a born caregiver with the passion to make a difference. She has an amazing laugh that is known to fill the room and brighten up everyone's day. Debra has been an outstanding contributor to the care of seniors. Debra rocks in every client's house she is in, becoming a client favorite immediately. She has the passion to make a difference and to always do what is in the best interest of the client. Debra lights up any room she is in with her warm heartedness, sweet smile and calm demeanor. She has truly shown her dedication and true passion as a caregiver by always adapting to the changes and challenges that come with each of her clients. March 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Patricia Pacheco

Patricia has been an outstanding contributor to the care of our seniors. She has been a go to on our tough clients facing dementia and Parkinson's. A client with Dementia often proves challenging but Patricia faces these tasks in stride and with professionalism. Patricia constantly evolves her care strategy to match what is needed for each client. Patricia has truly show her dedication and true passion as a caregiver and she is always able to help when needed. We appreciate all you do and are so happy to recognize you!

February 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Gina Gauvin

Gina has been an outstanding and positive contributor to the care of seniors.

She has a genuine, cheery personality. She is highly requested because she is so dedicated to every client she works with. She serves as Hospice Hero, providing cleaning care to many of these clients who are at the most fragile time of their life.

January 2021 CAREGiver of the Month: Hattie Jackson

Hattie's qualities as a caregiver shine in all she does. She is never afraid of any shift--BIG or Small! Whether she is helping the office when in a pinch with fill ins or servicing one of her many regular clients, Hattie is always up for the challenge. You're a chameleon of a caregiver with personal care, dementia care, daytime care and overnight care! You are such a great friend to our seniors and we are so happy to recognize!

December 2020 CAREGiver of the Month: Rosemary Alvarado

Rosemary is dependable and trustworthy.

She sets the standard and tone of what it means to work with a professional Home Instead CAREGiver.

Rosemary does an outstanding job keeping the office informed with honest feedback about the care needs of her clients.

Rosemary is helpful to the office completing fill in shifts as she is able and she works on some of our most complex cases.

Our seniors are blessed to have a friend and caregiver in Rosemary, aka Rosie 😊

November 2020 CAREGiver of the Month: Angela Charles

Angela provides regular care to two of our longtime clients. She spends twice a day with Ms. Lois and every Saturday with Ms. Essie. Her clients love spending time with her and there is nothing that Angela won’t do to help them. She makes herself available to help with special circumstances for Lois since her family is not in town. Angela is quick to say “yes” when the office calls asking for a favor. We appreciate her positive attitude and willingness to be a strong force of love and caring with seniors in our community!

October 2020 CAREGiver of the Month: Addie Kovac

Addie is so dedicated to her seniors that she spends 7 nights each week with her client! It is the highlight of his evening to have Addie come and play cards and then complete his bedtime care. Addie assists the office often with providing care for fill in shifts. Addie chooses to caregiver on top of her other full-time job because she was looking for something meaningful to do with her spare time. We are so grateful and happy that she is on our team helping our seniors!

September 2020 CAREGiver of the Month: Kari Spaude

Kari has been an amazing Caregiver for this office. During our early ownership, Kari assisted with a quick growth spurt by taking 10 additional shifts in a single month in addition to her regular clients. We have received positive feedback about the care that she provides from her clients. Her wonderful personality and warm smile make her a welcome addition to anyone’s home. A family member of a client refers to Kari as an “angel here on Earth”.
