When the Home Instead fundraiser competition officially ended on November 30, 2020, our humble franchise found itself in 2nd place in the entire network of hundreds of Home Instead franchises! Our amazing Windward & Central O'ahu franchise team raised $21,500 for the Walk to End Alzheimer's! Since the official end of the competition another franchise came through with some additional donations and pulled ahead into 2nd, and good for them!!! 😀😀😀
On Saturday November 7th Twenty-three of the Home Instead Senior Care Team in Kailua - serving Windward, Central, and Leeward O'ahu - came out for the 2020 Walk to End Alz. With physical distancing and masks, we walked in the neighborhood, raised funds for research and support, and celebrated all those who are working to alleviate the suffering and heartache of this awful disease.
