 Immediate openings for Part-Time Compassionate CAREGiverSM

As a CAREGiverSM with Home Instead Senior Care, you will: • Provide Companionship, Home Helper Services, and Personal Care which could include: • Companionship and conversation • Providing stabilization and assistance with walking • Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items • Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders • Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.) • Washing and ironing laundry • Running errands • Accompanying clients to appointments • Assisting with bathing, grooming and dressing • Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues • Alzheimer's Care.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach • Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers) • Complete a satisfactory criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen • Possess a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.

 A preferred candidate would be flexible in the number of hours needed per week as this is a part-time position. Experience is preferred but not required.
