Darla Lambert, Client Care Coordinator

Darla Lambert, Director of Human Resources

Darla was born and raised on her family's century farm in Missouri. She was blessed to spend time with her grandparents and loved the weekend sleepovers where she was quite a competitor in dominos with her grandparents and their friends. Darla is a graduate of Drury College. She worked in the television industry for 22 years before she realized she would rather make a difference in the life of one senior at a time instead of communicating to the masses.

Darla joined our Home Instead team as a part-time caregiver in October, 2017. She was initially impressed by the great reputation of Home Instead and is now proud to be part of a team that specializes in providing one-to-one care with compassion. In 2019 Darla accepted the opportunity to join our office team as the Office Assistant. Since then, she has also served as a Care Coordinator for our clients. Darla now works in our Human Resources department recruiting and hiring our Care Professionals.

When Darla isn't busy finding and interviewing the best Care Professionals in town, she can be found boating, fishing, reading or flea marketing.

Wendy Koke, Client Care Manager

Wendy Koke, Director of Client Services

Wendy discovered her passion for caregiving early while providing care for her mother who had many health issues. She later became a full-time caregiver to her grandmother for 5 ½ years while she battled Alzheimer's. Wendy joined our Home Instead team in January 2018 as a part-time Care Professional.

Wendy understands the importance of keeping loved ones safe at home. In addition to her caregiving experience, Wendy comes with a background of more than 20 years in sales & management. She enjoys working with families to create personalized care plans for their loved one.

She is married to Kevin and is the proud mom/step mom to 5 children & 1 grandchild . She enjoys spending time with family, going to flea markets & antique shops, cooking, gardening & evening snuggles with her "fur kids".

Sammy Roth, Client Care Coordinator

Sammy Roth, Client Care Coordinator

Sammy joined Home Instead as a part-time CAREGiver in March 2016. She accepted the Lead Care Professional position in early 2018, and then moved into her current Client Care role in December of 2019. Using her knowledge from these roles, Sammy is able to help families determine how our Care Professionals can help their loved one.

Sammy grew up in Springfield and earned a BS degree in Genetics from Iowa State University. After graduation in 2013 Sammy realized she wanted a more personal contact with people than a laboratory setting would allow and chose to continue her education. She earned a Master's degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University in California in 2015. Following graduation Sammy returned to the Springfield area to be closer to her family and soon found her way to Home Instead.

She enjoys cuddling with her 3 cats, Luna, Taffy and Milly as well as going to her fiancé Brad’s football and baseball games for the teams he coaches in the area. Sammy also loves to travel and is excited to explore more of the country as well as abroad with Brad. In addition, she is very connected to the community through her temple and teaches Hebrew on the weekends for 1st through 3rd graders.

Sammy finds everyday working for Home Instead to be incredibly rewarding! "It's honestly the best feeling to provide care to those who have cared for so many throughout their very full lives. Being able to listen to their stories and adventures makes it all worth it and I come to work feeling excited for what the day is going to bring."

Gina Meurer, Client Care Coordinator
