jonna RESIZED

Jonna Wisnieski, Business Owner

Jonna has a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in the communities she serves. Personal experiences with clients and clients' family members motivate her to hire top-quality office staff and Care Pros who are trained to provide services that exceeds clients' expectations.

After nearly 2 decades in marketing and sales, Jonna decided to focus her energy on serving seniors in Marshall, Jasper, Poweshiek, Marion and Mahaska counties. Her role at Home Instead is to provide leadership, promote Home Instead Senior Care in the community, plan community service projects, and create greater public awareness of senior issues, challenges, and needs.

Some of Jonna's most cherished childhood memories involve spending time with her grandma and great grandma at their rural Nebraska grocery store. Roller skating around the aisles, stocking shelves on delivery day and triple-decker Cheez Whiz sandwiches for lunch are still vivid remembrances. Time spent with her grandpa on the family farm picking sweet corn, riding the horse and drinking Shirley Temples are fond memories, as well.

Jonna has been married to Jeff Wisnieski, her childhood sweetheart, for 22 years, and they have three children ranging in ages from 13 to 19.

Jeff Resized

Jeff Wisnieski, Business Owner

Jeff has true passion for helping seniors. With Jeff's previous work experience in wound care and medical equipment sales, he has had the privilege of working with the elderly in our communities for many years. His passion started at an early age. His fondest memories as a child where sitting with his grandmothers and listening to the stories of his family. He feels very fortunate, since both his grandmothers have lived well into their 90s. Listening to the struggles and challenges they experienced, and how they took joy in the simple things has helped shape who he is. His love and respect for the senior community was formed listening to these stories. He now has the honor and privilege to give back to this community. Jeff spends his days in the community providing educational programs to the senior community at senior centers, assisted and independent living communities. He also spends time in nursing homes providing entertainment for the residence with old time radio and TV programs. "I am truly blessed to be able to wake up everyday excited about what I do. We have put together an incredible team of office staff and caregivers that have a true desire to help the seniors in Marshall, Jasper, Poweshiek, Marion and Mahaska Counties"

Rhonda RESIZED

Rhonda Miller, Bookkeeper

Rhonda developed a burning to desire to help seniors through delivering groceries to their homes. As her relationships with her customers grew, she saw a serious need for home care and companionship. “Seniors, who are homebound, are lonely. They still want to keep their independence and take care of themselves but physical ailments have limited their lifestyle.” When Rhonda saw the help wanted ad for Home Instead, she immediately went to apply. She was impressed with Home Instead’s passion for improving the quality of life for seniors and families in their communities.

Rhonda ‘s favorite childhood memory of grandparents was her maternal grandfather threatening in Dutch to send her father to jail. She couldn’t understand a word he said but it always made her laugh. And nothing beat her paternal grandmother’s hot fudge sauce!

Rhonda’s duties at Home Instead are processing invoices and payroll, maintaining the website and bookkeeping. She enjoys interacting with the clients and Care Pros.

Daphne Davis, Scheduler

While growing up, I found myself making special connections with the seniors in my life. Those experiences ranged from spending days out on the farm with my G-ma and Papa, to Saturday evenings with my neighbor, Clifford, styling his hair while watching the Lawrence Welk Show and talking about the "good old times," to forming a special connection with my nursing home pen pal when I was in third grade. We stayed close until she passed during my senior year in high school. I have always found a unique closeness with the older generation.

Later in life, I took a year off work to care for my father-in-law, who was in the later stages of Alzheimer's disease. Through that experience, I was able to see him light up remembering people from his past and glimpses of the most happy moments in his life. Most recently, I have had the pleasure of assisting with my mother's care after she experienced several debilitating strokes. Seeing my mom's joy when I was able to take her shopping for the first time and watching her teach her grandbabies to cook again, are moments that continue to inspire me on the path of care giving.

I am honored to be in the scheduling role at Home Instead -- facilitating these kinds of special moments between our Care Pros and the clients we care so much about.

Miranda Gobel, Scheduling Coordinator

I was lucky to grow up super close to my maternal grandparents in Indiana. I spent the summers with my grandma going to fun places and enjoying new adventures with her. I also spend a lot of time with my grandpa in his barber shop -- sweeping the floor and watching classic musicals while he worked with his customers. Now that my husband and I are two states away, in Iowa, I know how hard it is to be far away from aging loved ones – wanting someone who is knowledgeable, dependable, and kind to care for them. I am so excited to be the person at Home Instead who gets to match our amazing caregivers with all our amazing clients! To me, it’s not just a tagline. It IS personal.

Stacey Resized

Stacey Nehring, CarePro Engagement and Human Resources Coordinator

Stacey previously worked in a caregiving position for 8 years. During that time, Stacey grew her passion for helping others and particularly enjoyed going home at the end of the day knowing that she had made a difference in her clients’ lives. She also reinforced what she knew to be true – that creating a positive work environment contributes to better employee morale and higher quality of care. It is important to Stacey that CarePros feel valued, appreciated, and comfortable sharing feedback. As a child, Stacey spent a significant amount of time with her grandmother, going on fun outings and doing the paper route together -- where they would sing, talk about the challenges in the word and how to overcome them with a positive attitude. Stacey learned a lot from her grandmother, who taught her to live life with strong convictions, a positive attitude and a “never-give-up” mentality.
