Not every job is the same. Of course, every job will have its own duties and tasks, but beyond what's written on the tag some jobs have more to them. Some careers have meaning and impact, and the people that work in them are just as special.

At Home Instead we think caring for aging adults in our community goes so far beyond a 9-5. Our CAREpros aren't just helping out around the house or driving a senior to the store, they are building relationships and strengthening our community. Service, companionship, and reliability; that's what it means to be a CAREpro.

Service

At the core of what a CAREpro does is service. All of our homecare tasks are an effort to improve and impact someone's life. We come to someone's home to help with tasks they may not be able to do anymore and to make them and their family feel confident they are receiving the best service possible. CAREpros are, after all, pros. Our team takes their tasks extremely seriously and provides the best possible care every step of the way.

Companionship

The other side of this service, being in people's homes and providing this care, is the companionship and social aspect of what we do. Our CAREpros don't just drive an aging adult to a store or the park and chaperone them around, they offer compassion and companionship throughout the entire process. When a CAREpro comes by it should be a joyful experience, a familiar and comforting presence is one of the most important services we offer. Being a CAREpro isn't just helping out around the house. Sometimes you just need to listen, sometimes you sort through old photos, and sometimes you jam to favorite old songs. No matter what you're doing you will always be offering companionship and compassion when you're a CAREpro

Reliability

At Home Instead we do what we say when we say it will be done, and how we said it will be done. This reliability and steadfastness is the backbone of everything we do. We want the clients and families we work with to have nothing but the fullest confidence in us to care for them or their loved ones, so we aim to leave no room for question. This extends to our CAREpros of course. Even if you're a part-time helper or on the job 5 days a week, Home Instead extends the highest quality training to everyone we welcome on board.

Everyone who joins our team will be given the best tools and network to succeed and extend the best possible care to our clients.

Being a CAREpro isn't like any other job in the end. But for individuals who have a passion for serving others, can see the difference their service makes. People whose best asset is a welcoming smile and desire to listen can find endless conversation and countless companions. And for people who think punctuality and percision are virtues, you'll find a professional and thorough environment.
