Meet Our Team

In my eyes there are two customers, you the CAREGiver® and the seniors we care for, our Clients. Taking care of seniors has been a passion of ours for many years. I am extremely humble to part of the Home Instead Senior Care family. I have lived in Florida since, 1999 when I moved from Pennsylvania. In 2000 I met the man of my dreams, Mario on a soccer field. We were married in 2001 and have 2 wonderful daughters Mary & Amelia.

I have worked in the Senior Living Industry since I moved to Florida and have always had a passion for seniors and ensuring that they had the right help as they needed it along their life journey! In 2012 I had the pleasure of making a sales call to Home Instead Senior Care office here in Lakeland which is where I meet Temi and John for the first time. Shortly after that date I had the honor of working for them for almost 2 years. I did step away from Home Instead for a few years, but I always wore a purple heart on my wrist that I got when I left.

An unexpected drop in visit to the office brought me back to Home Instead Senior Care, Lakeland I look forward to building on the legacy that John and Temi have built and making the Lakeland Home Instead Senior Care office even stronger and more successful! They have brought the passion and drive to change the face of aging in Lakeland, Florida. Now is our opportunity to take it to the next level, to make a difference in lives of seniors.

Hi! My name is Angela, I have lived in Florida my entire life, so far!

Ever since I was very young, I have enjoyed being around the elder generation. As a child I would rather visit the widow down the street then play with my friends. I enjoy the wisdom of the elder generation and the stories of years past.

I have worked with the elderly in Assisted Livings prior to coming to Home Instead Senior Care in 2015. I joined the Home Instead team because of the flexibility with my schedule and seeing how genuine they are about taking care of the elder generation. I am thankful to be part of the team that ensures Quality of Care for our clients.

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I am the mother of 3 wonderful kids ages 24, 16 & 6. Back in school I did Business and Secretarial as my area of studies. After moving from New York to Lakeland FL in 2006 I worked for MCI now Verizon but also ventured into Health Care. I obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant license in April 2007 and have been in Health Care ever since then. I am also Core Certified, which I have had the opportunity in working in Assisted Living Facilities and more so Memory Care.

In 2012, I was drawn to Home Instead after seeing one of their caregivers in action and how passionate she was about her client and her job, the purple shirt stood out also. After talking to the caregiver I immediately applied and was accepted. I stepped away for a few month after the birth of my son, them came back few months later and have been here ever since.

In June of 2018 I transition in the office to join the team of Key Players in the Human Resource Dept. When not in the office or On Call, I am spending time with my family and going to church.

Working at Home Instead over the last 5 years as the Service Coordinator has provided me opportunities to make meaningful connections with our clients and care professionals.   To hear stories, share laughs and sometimes tears, remind me why I joined this team.  My family prioritizes our faith, family and community through experiences, adventure, and helping others when given the opportunity.  Building these connections with our clients and care professionals truly has been a blessing and helps keep my priorities at Home Instead in line with my personal values.  

Hello, my name is Teresa. My heart has always been with Seniors and enjoy hearing of their life challenges and accomplishments.  My home area is Upstate New York and moved to Florida in my late 20’s.  I have worked in healthcare on and off as a CNA in Long Term Care and Office Secretary in a Nursing home and Hospital.  My time at Home Instead has been 9 years. It is my pleasure to work with the Seniors here at Home Instead to help them live their best life at home.  

Hello, my  name is, Eva. I am a Polk County native and have been a nurse for 36 years. 29 years as an LPN then an RN for the last 7 years. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings but my passion has always been our senior population. I first came in contact with Home Instead Caregivers when I worked for a local hospice. They were so dedicated, compassionate and professional. I was very impressed with each one that I encountered over the years. When my  mother in law needed caregivers, of course, we chose Home Instead  and she loved them all. My father in law, former business owner, was impressed with the how professional everyone was, from the office staff to the Care Pros. My position here enables me to build relationships with our Care Pros, clients, families and key players. I am very blessed to be part of the team here at Home Instead!
