May 11th 2009 Sandra Greaves & Roger Ross opened up their Office in Middletown, CT. With zero experience between the two of us, we took a leap of FAITH into a field we were praying we could make a difference in. The goal was to use the limited experience we had taking care of our own parents and giving it our best shot at improving the lives of seniors in and around our community. As owners of the Middletown office we can honestly say we love what we do, love how we make a difference in the lives of our Clients & Caregivers and we are very passionate about the work we have yet to accomplish in the future.

I have started working with Home Instead Senior Care in January of 2013 as The Retention and Recruitment Coordinator. A year later I was Promoted to Office Manager.

My career in healthcare started in 1999 where I worked in a nursing home in my native NJ. I started there as a nurses assistant and a year later I was given the Staffing Coordinator position where I remained for 5 years. I then moved on to doing scheduling for hospice also in NJ where I remained for 2 years before I moved to CT. In CT I have continued working as a Staffing Coordinator in a facility for two years before moving on to Home Healthcare.

John Allen

John T Allen – HR, Recruiter - Employee Development & Engagement. My career with Home Instead Senior Care began in July 2020 as HR – Recruiter, Employee Development & Engagement.

While I am new to healthcare – I have been in human resources and recruiting for over 7 years. My background has been in the manufacturing and aerospace arena. Employee development & engagement has always been my passion, I thoroughly enjoy helping people navigate a company's rules and regulations, realize their potential and getting then to that next level. Personally I am an Army veteran, a lifelong resident of Connecticut, an avid learner, I possess a master's degree - in Science Management (MSM) and a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). I am currently studying to obtain my HR SHRM-CP certification.

My hobbies are reading, learning new things, traveling with family & friends, going on cruises around the world, and sampling different cuisine.
