May 11th 2009 Sandra Greaves & Roger Ross opened up their Office in Middletown, CT. With zero experience between the two of us, we took a leap of FAITH into a field we were praying we could make a difference in. The goal was to use the limited experience we had taking care of our own parents and giving it our best shot at improving the lives of seniors in and around our community. As owners of the Middletown office we can honestly say we love what we do, love how we make a difference in the lives of our Clients & Caregivers and we are very passionate about the work we have yet to accomplish in the future.

Parris Redding, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

To contact Parris Redding: parris.redding@homeinstead.com

Hey Heyy Heyyy,

My name is Parris. Yes, that's right I have two Rs in my first name, but it is pronounced like the City 😊. I take much pride in the work that I do, and the care given to others I knew I wanted to make a difference. So, when I graduated high school, I started working in the hospital in the Food Service Department and worked my way to the diet office as Nutrition Assistant for 10 years.

I wanted to do more and heard about Home Instead and was hired as a Care Pro in 2019 with the drive to make a difference in the lives of many seniors and to put a smile on their face. It's that same smile that makes me feel like family to many of the clients. And it's that same smile that eliminates any of those first-time jitters when services started. Fast forward a few years and I am your Administrative Professional Key Player for the Middletown Home Instead family.

In my spare time I enjoy being a mom, spending time with my family, and eating. I also love all animals, and I do mean ALL.

Susan K

Susan Kearns, Client Care Coordinator

Susan Kearns is happy to be returning to Home Instead. Having prior served as a Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator she is eager to take on the role of Client Care Coordinator. She has an eclectic background and has spent a considerable amount of time in the mortgage, insurance, risk management and non-profit industries which has given her a vast array of experiences working with people from all walks of life. Susan has also developed strong ties with local communities through decades of volunteer work. She has spent countless hours coordinating and recruiting volunteers for Bridgeport’s Saint Vincent’s Medical Foundation’s cancer programs as well as mentoring the same Special Olympian athlete for over 29 years.

Susan comes from a large family. Her past has provided her with much exposure and meaningful interactions with her grandparents and elderly relatives. These life experiences have allowed her to develop a genuine interest and a natural rapport with the elderly. She has also had first hand experience caring for an elderly parent and she fully understands what it takes to provide quality care and to develop lasting bonds with the senior population. She looks forward to bringing that same energy, desire, and passion again to Home Instead in her role as Client Care Coordinator.
