Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with personal care assistance (e.g., grooming, bathing, continence care)
  • Assistance with transfers and ambulation
  • Companionship and client engagement

Requirements:

  • Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead*

Salary range for service hours: $14.40-$15.80 per hour

We service many towns: Mansfield, Willimantic, Columbia, Danielson, Brooklyn, Putnam, Stafford Springs, Hebron and many more...
