Clarksville July 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - Maxine R. & Bernice 'Naomi' T.
Meet Maxine and her Professional CAREGiver, Naomi, Clarksville’s Client and Professional CAREGiver Spotlight team for July! They have been together about a year and make a wonderful team. Maxine was a housewife who lived on a farm with her late husband of 50+ years. Naomi previously worked at a daycare and wanted a new caregiving challenge, so she came to Home Instead. In her spare time, Naomi enjoys baking, painting, and crocheting.
When she is with Ms. Maxine, she starts the day off with finishing the housework, then the pair love to go out on the town! You may find them getting a mani or pedi, then they will have lunch at Shoney’s. Ms. Maxine cannot see very well, so she will tell Naomi what to put on her plate from the buffet and the two will enjoy lunch together after Ms. Maxine’s weekly hair appointment. Naomi says, “Maxine is the sweetest lady”. They love sharing stories about life experiences and Ms. Maxine always asks about Naomi’s grown boys. We are certainly glad we had a hand in placing Ms. Maxine and Naomi together. We hope they continue to “Share Their Hearts” for many years to come!
