Meet this one-of-a-kind team of Alvelo and Danny, Clarksville’s Client & Professional CAREGiver spotlight for December. Alvelo is a retired veteran, serving in both the Army and the National Guard. He was born in Puerto Rico, where he has fond memories of his family and friendly people. Alvelo loves spending time with his family. Danny herself is bilingual. This helped the two form a bond with Alvelo being able speak in his primary language. Danny and Alvelo also share mutual interest in Cumbia music, and it can often be heard in the house throughout the day. Baseball and playing Dominos is also a favorite activity, with Alvelo teaching Danny how to play when she asked. When the work is caught up and it is time for some fun the two can often be found at the table ready to play. When we asked Mr. Santiago about Danny, he replied, “Danny is a great Domino player, and she makes me laugh.” We are so happy to see the bond that the two are building together each day by Sharing Their Hearts while staying safe with Home Instead.
