A Passion for Serving Seniors and their Families

We both grew up in Olympia, are high school sweethearts and moved back home to raise our four children near family and cousins.  We own two Cutters Point Coffee shops in Lacey and Rhyan is the lead pastor at Grace Covenant Community Church off of Yelm Hwy in Olympia.  While Rhyan continues to work and serve full time at the church, and Kari is in the office, we have both been thrilled to have stepped into this Home Instead adventure to serve and enhance the lives of aging adults and their families in this South Sound area, that has been home for so long and means so much to us.
 

We are invested in our community on a very personal level and believe every family in the area deserves individualized in-home senior care with a compassionate touch. That's why we wanted to be a part of the Home Instead network...to partner with an organization that practices this and honors it so well day in and day out.

Paul and Lori Hogan founded Home Instead, Inc. in 1994 in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul's own family experience caring for his grandmother led him to realize many families could use the help of an in-home caregiver. He and Lori set about creating a company to help seniors to live independently at home. That mission still drives the company and its franchise network today.

Home Instead, Inc. began franchising in 1995. Today, the Home Instead Senior Care network has grown to include more than 1,000 franchises around the world -- including this office in Olympia, WA. While our franchise network is international, our office is local. And to us, senior home care is personal.​
