Home Instead provided the best and most loving care for my mom. Hazel, Vicki and Melissa were always ready to help mom with all the things she needed and always with a smile and kind heart. I know they truly care about her. Chelsey was always quick to respond to my changing needs and even checked on mom when it wasn’t her shift. Mary was wonderful at handling all of our scheduling needs. Thank you all!

It gives me so much peace of mind during my busy workweek to know my Mom has such good care from AnneMarie. The personal touches, the genuine concern for my mom, is outstanding. Deb Hall is a very attentive and conscientious caregiver. She does her job with a smile on her face and love in her heart. In addition, she goes above and beyond her listed responsibilities. I'm very thankful that my Mom has Deb as her companion and caregiver.

My Mom is so lucky to have such a caring, compassionate and devoted caregiver in Michelle Lindsay. She truly puts the needs of her clients first and will go the extra mile to see that those needs are met. My Mom looks forward to the time she gets to spend with Michelle. She is a blessing to both my Mom and me.

This service has been a blessing! My caregiver Deb, has given me the freedom to stay at home. She cares for me with love and grace. She fixes my lunch, helps take care of dog, and most importantly helps me to the bathroom! Having someone here, gives me the confidence to work towards becoming more independent.

 

What a great company to have care for my dad! Chelsea immediately was able to provide two wonderful matches (Glace and Zoe) to assist with my dad’s care. I could not have manage his needs successfully without their help! A true blessing, and for which I remain grateful!

 

Chelsea and her team were beyond professional with the care of both my Father and Mother recently. Both suffered from dementia and failing health. The team were all compassionate, professional, attentive and the family felt so blessed to have chosen Home Instead for the extra caring help.

 

They had my Mom and Dad till they went to Heaven from Harbor Chase. We tried to care for them at home but could not. All I can say is they are angels in disguise. Absolutely love these people.

 

Home Instead caregivers were wonderful while taking care of both of my parents at separate times. They jumped on getting caregivers scheduled when we had to shift from dad to mom then back to dad. We could not have asked for better tender loving care.

We can not thank this company enough for the warm, caring and compassionate people who where there for our father until the end. This company exceeded all expectations in not only the quality of the caregivers they provided but also in the way that the manager made sure that we had the coverage we needed, even filling in a shift herself to make sure that everything was covered. Home Instead worked with me and my parents to find suitable help for moms needs and we/they hit the jackpot with Ann Marie. She & Mom really clicked. Home Instead also helped tremendously when Mom was in hospital and rehabs for a few months. I really have appreciated the flexibility, care and compassion shown by both Ann Marie and Home Instead.

My Husband & I live in Lancaster SC. My terminally ill brother recently came to spend his last days with us. From the day I first met Patty I knew we could get the help all three of us needed. Hospice was also involved and when they visited the Home Instead caregivers could always add helpful insight. Chesley and Diane were constantly in touch with us coordinating all the caregivers. We are completely thrilled with Home Instead! The caregiver, Leah, assigned to Mom is friendly and thorough in housekeeping and compassionate. She has become a dear friend and trusted addition to her home. Highly recommended company and caring staff.
Care has been good but some weekends iffy. Either no one showed or help was sub standard. Jayne has been wonderful with Mom. I wish we could have her always but I understand why that doesn’t work.

Home Instead is a great company. My mom is very pleased with the care that is being provided for my dad, it took her a bit to connect with the right caregiver but she really enjoys having Lori every day. She is most appreciative for Chelsey the client coordinator that has went above and beyond to help my mom with her long term care, and make sure my dad was taken care of and worked shifts till the perfect caregiver was found. My mom loves Chelsey to death wish everyone worked like she did. All in all, Home Instead is a great company to care for your loved ones.
We have been very please with the care and attention my father-in-law is receiving from Home Instead. They certainly are the reason we get to have him living in our home. From the time we signed on with Home Instead, Patty and Diane have been wonderful, always there to help us, making sure we always had a caregiver. Anytime we had concerns, they were there for us. When we have a new caregiver, Patty always comes to our home to introduce us. They have worked untiringly to make sure my wife was well taken care of. They are both deserving of recognition. They are Gold Star ladies.

Our present caregiver, Harlie, is awesome. She is particularly sensitive to my wife's needs. She comes in every morning with a smile and goes immediately to the bedroom to check on my wife and it's that way throughout the day, regularly asking ‘What can I do?’ throughout the day. She has a positive spirit. She is a Gold Star caregiver. Whenever she leaves, she always asks, ‘Is there anything I can do before I leave?’ She has bonded with Mary. My family, who come often, are very impressed with her.

Having Ollie come to our home to be a caregiver for Mom has been a true blessing.
Home Instead has been a wonderful blessing to our family in the care of my 96-year-old father. He is relatively independent but requires assistance with daily chores and has some limited health care needs. After carefully assessing our situation, the team at Home Instead selected a perfect companion to fit dad’s personality and special requirements (Lori). Lori has been a dependable confidante and provides the best care possible for dad. She understands the delicate balance between caring for the desires of my dad and staying within the boundaries of what he is able to do and accomplish on his own. Lori has become a trusted member of the family.
From a management perspective, the team at Home Instead is top-notch. We used a competitor for dad’s care initially for a brief period. Needless to say there were multiple issues. Home Instead came in and worked with us as partners, even assisting with the Long-Term care insurance filings and reports. Diane and Patty have been excellent. They have been accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t be more relieved and satisfied with Home Instead as our in-home care providers.
The staff is so caring and asks what they can do to help if they aren't sure. They are happy to accommodate light housekeeping, help prepare a meal, exercise my mom, and work on cognitive exercises . They are always prompt to arrive. Our interactions with them are wonderful - very easy to talk to and get along with. They felt like friends quickly. If I have special requests or changes they work quickly to take care of them.
Very satisfied with Home Instead Services. My brother has had some phenomenal caregivers. Shelby, one of his current caregivers, is great with my brother. I appreciate her so much and am grateful for the others as well.

We were faced with a sudden, total change in care needs for my mom. I picked them at random really just to start the search for care process. They provided for every need we had quickly and efficiently. They have been super responsive to both planned and last minute needs, including providing some respite care while she was in the hospital when we did not want her to be alone. Highly recommend!
Everyone at HI from the back office to most importantly the caregivers have given our family peace of mind. We feel confident that our mom is getting to experience a full life knowing she is safe and comfortable.
Home Instead is excellent. I’m happy that somebody is with my husband when I have to go out. They’re reliable, they kept him clean, and they fed him. They came on time, I was not able to come home until one hour later than what I had thought and they were fine with that, I have no problems with them at all.
Barbara is the greatest caregiver. She is a family. She even helped raise our puppy Annie.
