Meet Our Team

Eric and Angela Thomas, Owners

Eric and Angela Thomas, Owners

Eric and Angela have spent more than 25 years serving the elderly in different capacities. Eric was President & CEO of large, faith-based retirement communities for over 22 years. These retirement communities had Assisted and Independent living apartments and townhomes, Memory care households, Skilled Nursing Care, Short-Term rehabilitation facilities, Adult Day Care and much more. Angela has served as the Development Director and Independent Living Director. As Development Director she raised money for capital campaigns, annual campaigns, annual benefit dinners and many other fundraising events. The best thing about home care though is the one-on-one aspect of caring for our clients. We know our quality of care is high and the client's quality of life is best when we take care of people individually.

Eric and Angela have 5 kids and 2 dogs, which is what they spend most of their time on when away from work!

Emily Wilson, Home Care Consultant

Emily Wilson, Home Care Consultant

I began at Home instead in June 2017 as a Quality Assurance Coordinator after receiving a B.S. in Health and Human Science at Bridgewater College. I enjoy sitting down with members of the community and families to see how they can use Home Instead as a partner in changing the face of aging. As a Home Care Consultant I do exactly that. I am responsible for representing Home Instead, controlling our social media presence, and building relationships with the communities around us! It's personal to me because my grandparents and parents are aging right here as well so my goal is to be a resource to make the transition of aging easier for everyone. I'm easy to find in the community, so feel free to pull me aside and say hi!

She is empathetic, engaging and motivated about assisting our caregivers with providing the best possible care for each and every one of our clients. At Home Instead caring is our passion, and it starts with our caregivers. Janel takes pride in inspiring our experienced caregivers to pursue additional training to further their career with Home Instead. Developing strong relationships from the beginning is the foundation of everything she does, both professionally and personally. Let’s turn your passion into a career. Remember you are already a Caregiver, you just don’t know it yet.

Melisa Fulkerson, Client Care Coordinator

I assist our quality assurance team by performing quality visits with any clients that reside in our local assisted living or independent living facilities. I also oversee our partnership with Allied Physicians Surgery Center, assisting their total joint replacement patients so that they can safely recover in their own home instead of having to stay in the hospital after their surgery. If you would like more information about this partnership, please contact me.
