CAREGiver Awards & Recognition

At Home Instead®, our success revolves around our CAREGiversâ„  – and we know it! We celebrate CAREGivers year-round in many ways: a note of appreciation, recognition in our employee newsletter, perhaps an impromptu office party.

Home Instead CAREGivers of the Month

Tina's Interview:
Q: What do you love most about working at Home Instead?
A: The thing I love most about working at Home Instead is the people I get to meet. I love getting to know my clients on a deeper level because they have so much knowledge and experience to share with everyone. They truly have a wealth of information and deserve more recognition for this than they actually receive.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy gardening during the warmer seasons and reading books during the colder seasons. I also enjoy canning the vegetables from my garden.
Q: What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
A: The most important thing I have learned, but also the most difficult to follow, is to fully trust God that I am on the right path in life.
Cindy's Interview:
Q: What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
A: Something that I always strive to do is live every day to the fullest. The older you get, the faster time seems to go by.
Q: What is something you enjoy about being a Home Instead CAREGiver?
A: I enjoy having a flexible schedule and most of all I enjoy interacting with my clients.
Q: What is your best piece of advice for other CAREGivers?
A: In my 14 years of CAREGiving, my biggest piece of advice is that a smile and some positivity go a long way!
You are both such a blessing to our team. Thank you for your positive mindset and the care you provide to your clients every day!
To thank our Home Instead 550 CAREGivers for all the amazing things they do, we nominate two people for our CAREGiver of the Month award. It’s a small way to show how thankful we are to them for demonstrating compassion and exceptional care to the aging adults and families they serve.
