Honor Management Group, Inc. Acquires Home Instead Shelby Township

The Home Instead franchise in Shelby Township, MI has been acquired by Honor Management Group, Inc., effective August 16, 2021.  Kerry Pareja opened the franchise in November of 2003. Having worked as a nurse for both Henry Ford and Crittenton, Kerry started the franchise with a  passion for helping seniors remain independently at home, where they could lead fulfilled lives and maintain strong family relationships. Since opening, her franchise has helped thousands of seniors and employed hundreds of CAREGivers. Her franchise has been recognized as a Top Workplace in Michigan by the Detroit Free Press several times, and the tenure of many of her employees shows the company’s dedication to their mission.

Home Instead of Shelby Township is owned by CEO Seth Michael and COO Bert Copple. Seth and his wife, Hannah, also own the Home Instead in Livonia, MI, while Bert and his wife, Stephanie, own the Home Instead in Clawson, MI. Together they are teaming up to acquire and grow their footprint in the home care market to assist as many seniors as possible age-in-place. Their franchises are some of the largest in the Home Instead network, and they have been recognized for eleven consecutive years as Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces, and were named the #1 Healthcare Workplace in America in 2021 by Energage. During this transition, Victoria Bednard will be promoted from within to General Manager of the franchise.
