With that knowledge ever present, we'd like to highlight an important resource for our local seniors: the Daybreak Adult Day Center in Lakewood Ranch!
The Center is located at 10920 State Road 70 East, Lakewood Ranch, FL, 34202, and offers a safe, secure environment with social, recreational, and therapeutic activities designed to meet the needs of older adults who live at home with a loved one but cannot be left alone while their caregiver works or attends to other responsibilities.
Daybreak is the only licensed adult day center in Manatee County providing ongoing, year-round programs Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with most clients attending between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.
The cost of enrollment is $12/hour. Cost includes all supplies, snacks, meals, and more. Partial and full-day enrollment is available. Meals on Wheels Plus Transportation is available for $15 per trip each way.
