About Us

Meet Our Team

Caitlyn Hampson, Franchise Owner

Caitlyn joined the Home Instead family in 2010 as an Administrative Assistance in New Hampshire, where she spent ten years learning all aspects of the business, culminating in her appointment as the Executive Director. She is forever grateful for the opportunity to learn the business and see the direct impact our services have on families. This opportunity cemented her decision to become a Franchise Owner. On October 1, 2019, Caitlyn became the Franchise Owner of Home Instead offices covering the North Shore and Essex County in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She and her team reap the satisfaction of helping to improve the lives of clients and their families.

Prior to joining the Home Instead network, Caitlyn worked for a family law attorney while attending the University of New Hampshire, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and exploring new places. She lives with her 3 fur babies – 2 dogs and 1 cat – in the area where she grew up.

Yahaira Garcia, Director of Operations

Yahaira joined our team in July 2021 as our Client Service Manager after years in the industry. She is responsible for coordinating our client and employee schedules, creating and maintaining relationships within the community and supporting our field staff.  Prior to joining our team, she worked for other home care providers in the area to help support families who need care and employ individuals who excel at providing the care needed.

Yahaira attended Northern Essex Community College and participated in the Medical Assistance & Phlebotomy program.  She started in the home care industry as a Personal Care Assistant and then transitioned into the office as a scheduler.  She continued her professional growth in the industry working her way up to a manager.

When you meet Yahaira you will quickly learn that she strongly believes that home care provides individuals a better quality of life rather than a nursing home.

When Yahaira isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family (her kids Zeek & Yari) and taking family trips to Florida.  She loves to dance Bachata, and her favorite color is yellow.

To contact Yahaira, you can call her at 978-725-5995 or email her at Yahaira.garcia@homeinstead.com

Ashley Michals, Scheduling Coordinator

Ashley has been working with Home Instead since November 2021. She has over 10 years of healthcare experience, most recently spending six years as a Patient Care Technician and Unit Coordinator at a local hospital.
Ashley knows what it takes to provide exceptional care, and she is proud to be bringing that experience into her new role. Ashley strives to achieve an optimal experience for both clients and Caregivers by scheduling the best matches based on several criteria.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as the most spoiled cat ever, Weezy. She also enjoys going to the gym, crafting and discovering new restaurants with her significant other, Jon.

Lisa Ardizzone, Administrative Assistant

Lisa started her career with Home Instead in January 2022 as the Administrative Assistant. Lisa and her family owned and operated a private retirement home for women in Methuen for over 25 years. Her focus was always for the advocacy and utmost care for each and every resident in the sunset of their lives. She forged relationships with her clients and their family members to ensure their voices were heard at all times whilst navigating the journey of not our their physical, but also emotional health and peace of mind knowing everything and anything needed would be provided with a gentle touch, smile and love.

Lisa had many roles within the facility, and at one time reached out to Home Instead as an avenue for continued care should clients require long term care facility care with the essence of their home they so desperately wishes to remain in with assistance.
When her family's home closed this year, she decided to again reach out to Home Instead, knowing the very same goals, approach, attention to clientele and loved ones were being attended within our company. She wanted to further her career with the healthcare community and know Home Instead's values were parallel to hers. She looks forward to attending to her new clientele and company with the same diligence and advocacy she always provided with the utmost care, respect and attention they deserve.

When Lisa is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Home Instead CAREGivers are the foundation of our company. They are the first line of service which is why we pride ourselves on only hiring the most experienced and qualified CAREGivers in the industry. We go above and beyond the hiring requirements mandated by the state when screening our caregivers. CAREGivers are thoroughly screened before hiring through a state wide criminal background check, a national criminal background check, elder abuse check, RMV checks, previous employment and reference verification, and drug tests.

We employ a wide range of caregivers to fit our clients individual needs. These CAREGivers provide caring companionship and quality personal care while encouraging independence. We have CAREGivers who are experienced in handling advanced chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s & dementia, Parkinson’s, Diabetes and COPD. Our caregivers are experienced in assisting with colostomy, urostomy, and oxygen. They receive support from our office team 24/7.

We provide initial training that offers over 50 hours of unparalleled education as well as monthly continuing education training. Our goal is to keep them informed with the latest care advances. Our Client Journal and subsequent Life Journal is a centerpiece of our training program in an effort to keep our clients independent in their homes for as long as possible.

All of our CAREGivers share a common desire to make a difference in the life of a senior.
