The Alzheimer Partnership 16th Annual Educational Conference was a huge success! “It was wonderful to all be together, in person, for this important educational program” said Co-Chair of the south shore Alzheimer partnership Jay Tolman from Home Instead Norwell.
Jay stated, “Not only was the day-long dementia educational program filled with vital information for Caregivers, it allowed us to raise funds for our respite grant program that the Alzheimer Partnership provides families on the South Shore.”
The Alzheimer's Association works with local service providers and family members to support the creation of local Partnerships such as the South Shore Partnership Each Partnership is a self-sufficient task-oriented alliance of health care and human service professionals, family members and other concerned individuals working to increase and improve local services through: education, coordination, development of new services, and advocacy. Each Partnership works closely with the Alzheimer's Association, helping the association to be more responsive to local needs and in turn helping the association with advocacy and fundraising.
